1 year of pumping, minimal gains, feedback?

The majority of all gains have come from jelqing. Look you have worked a year and you’re not happy with what you have gotten. Why not try something different?

I agree with Jimmy Bob about your routine. I personally would think your routine is weak. There is something to be said for tenacity and dedication.

I don’t agree with Jimmy that Jelqing is what brings the gains though. I think doing the heavy work builds your mass and jelquing builds the blood vessels and highways to make your new found mass completely erect/improve EQ. Using the example from a different body part; when you train your triceps heavy with lower reps it builds mass. after the mass is there doing lower weight, “jelquing” builds the blood vessels and highways to deliver the blood and nutrients to fully expose “tone” your new found mass.

I think I’d take a little time off from the bathmate and try clamping, after of course educating yourself about it if you haven’t already. After a couple months maybe switch back to the bathmate. Clamping has been a great experience for me. But I also jelq, often.

If the penis was made of skeletal muscle than heavy weight at low reps would work. That is not the type of muscle found there though.

I think his logic is sound, though. You do heavy work to induce damage. This is a cornerstone of PE work — microtears.

Then lighter work will improve bloodflow. There is lots of agreement that jelqing is the cornerstone of a good erection, since it mimics an erection so well. Of course, the type of jelq varies (for instance, a Uli or slinky or some other some such is still a jelq), and can be heavy or light, but a mid-range, medium jelq should no doubt improve bloodflow and erection, as well as veininess.

So I think the corollary is valid, if not literally for muscle, but for increasing bodily mass and improving bloodflow in general. Heck, this logic should work with any blood-rich flesh or organ. Even the heart is known to become enlarged from this sort of routine, earlobes, lips and so on.

Your heart is smooth muscle. How do you improve your heart health and it’s ability to contract and pump blood throughout the body? Cardio, putting the muscle under strain for longer periods of time. The biggest differences between your skeletal muscle and smooth muscle simply they serve a different function, are shaped a little differently and smooth muscle isn’t striated. In the end, they’re both still muscles.

I was only making small gains during my first year of pumping doing two 20 minute sessions a day at 5 hg. I then introduced a 45 minute session at 4 hg and my rate of gain increased significantly.

How long does someone need to take off to decondition?

Usually a month or 2. Given you did this routine an entire year I would take 8 weeks off of PE. Then try a new system.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Actually your heart is made up of cardiac muscle which is different from smooth and skeletal muscle. As for they’re still muscles ; well veggies are veggies but I hate brussel sprouts yet love spinach!. ( there is a difference)

I stand corrected; I haven’t been through Biology in years. The heart is striated, not smooth, and is classified under cardiac muscle. Still a muscle and same logic still applies. If in your paradigm they’re different so be it. For me they’re too similar to cut apples and oranges.

I’m sure there are those who agree with you; as there are those who agree with me. We shall agree to disagree.

Goldicock what’s your resolve looking like? Are you going to take a deconditioning period as TG suggests and come back with a new routine? Sounds like a solid plan to me.

Hi guys, thanks for all the feedback. I’ve been crazy busy so I’m just getting to read these responses now.

I am going to take 6-8 weeks off from all PE to de condition.

After the break I’ll start back up with jelqs and stretching, newbie routine most likely, and then make increases to my routine every month or so and adding the bathmate back in, slowly, down the line.

I have tried clamping a few times in the past but it couldn’t keep a really strong erection while clamped. Maybe I was doing it wrong? I thought I had it on pretty tight but I was trying to be careful not to injure myself too. I did like ulis and squeezes as well, I’ll probably incorporate them back in too.

And to dtwarren1942, isnt a 40min session dangerous? I thought you weren’t supposed to go past 20min.

After a few months clamping I’ve taken a break to focus on length but I noticed the same, although I did get some nice gains even that way. I solved my problem though. I was clamping too tight. I now put the clamp on, keep my measuring tape handy, clamp all the way down once erect. I then measure and usually get about 5 3/8 (5 1/8MESG). I then loosen the clamp a click at a time till I see greater expansion. Usually two clicks and instead of 5 3/8 I’m getting 5 4/8 or 5 5/8. The additional blood flow helps keep the erection, new blood flowing in, and actually makes it more engorged then a complete clamp.

If your trying to gain girth I’d say try for at least an hour of tension whether clamping or bathmate a day consistently and the jelqs as well.

Thanks for the good advice here.

I’m tempted to drop pumping during the early stages here, as Thoughtfulgold mentions it causes the penis to ‘cement’ at the wrong time, so to speak.

Saying that, what’s suppose to happen with the penis after an average pumping session? Mine goes back to completely normal — that is, whatever erect state it’s naturally in.

At 5 hg it would generate a lot of excess edema. However, at 4 hg, it only generals a little edema which dissipates within an hour or so.
