It seems there are 3 camps in PE. ONE, less is more. TWO, more is more. THREE, somewhere in between.
I think the real key is to figure out which one you are in as soon as possible. To do that, I like the slow ramp up approach. Start with a ridiculously low amount of time, like 2-3 minutes and slowly add to that. You start with modest force, and then watch your EQ and growth.
If you EQ is rising, but no growth, chances are you need to keep upping the time. If EQ starts to drop, chances are you are OVER the amount of time needed. By starting slow, you can see if EQ is slowing getting better and better. When you make big jumps, you can jump right over your max EQ levels and not know that you are showing a drop in EQ because you never saw how high it could be.
Lots of guys want to argue about “more is more, or less is more” but really its not subject to debate, you are what you are, and the sooner you figure out what is best for you, the sooner you can begin to gain.
Watch carefully over the next 2 weeks for how high your EQ gets, and let that be your new level to judge your EQ by. Now, in retrospect you may see that you have been at a 5 or 4 on a 10 scale, which would certainly indicate you are doing too much. Also pay attention to all aspects of EQ like ease of erections, frequency, hardness, refractory period after orgasm and morning and nite wood. This will greatly aid you in monitoring your EQ when you begin again.
Also I would start with half of what you were doing and see where it puts your EQ. Should for about 8-9 on a 10 scale. If it drops below that, adjust your workout down or take a day off. Experiment with it, but really I don’t think you should let it drop below about 7. You may find that 10 is best. Experiment and keep a journal. Good luck!
One last thing, I wouldn’t end my decon until your EQ begins to drop. If it keeps getting higher, wait until the drop to begin again. The length of time needed to drop is useful. As I stated before I think your EQ will continue to climb the first week, but let us know what you find.
