A Bit Confused With Extender

Hi Everyone! I recently got my hands on an X4 Labs Extender and I’m a bit puzzled at where I should be extending to? Now I have taken plenty of time in looking up past threads about this question. But the posts that I have viewed seem to be split down the middle with an answer. Some posts suggest going past your BPEL while some suggest going past your FL. I have noticed however that the posts pertaining to the members who go past their BPEL seem to have more slippage than the ones going past their FL.

I would just like the answer that is best suited for A user using an extender.

Apologies ahead of time for not posting this in the extender thread as I am fairly new to the boards.

I have an X4 and when I use it I set it to 50% tension (2nd bar) and then just compare the length. Some guys BPEL is longer than their BPFSL and others their BPFSL is longer than their BPEL. I happen to be in the latter camp.

First I wanted to say thank you for writing me back 32quarters. I appreciate it. Not kidding about this but I wrote to X4 and their reply to my question was that they didn’t know what I was referring too. All they typically say is just wear it for a certain amount of hours. Not how to set it up. So I’m taking it from them I was just supposed to put it on and go from there. Glad for sites like this that people can respond back with an actual answer.
