A full on discussion about "Edging"

Hello folks! I had a few questions about “Edging” and would like to start a thread that could possibly turn into one of those ” X 101” threads that have proved so educational and useful on these boards. I KNOW a lot of you would like to refer me to the search feature of this web, as I’m sure the issue has been discussed here and there frequently, spanning across several threads, but Id like to ask we start a focused discussion here and now (on this subject alone) so that people like myself, or other newbies, have a better reference to locate when seeking advice about this topic.

That said,

I would like to ask anyone who has had success/experience with “Edging” to discuss their training methods here on how they became able to master their ability to control ejaculation.

That is my first request.

I would like to ask the following questions about edging to experienced edgers:

1. When you practice edging, and come to the point at which you must hold off the ejaculation, how do you deal with the blue ball effect of withholding semen back in your system? One of my biggest problems when practicing this exercise is that when I do hold back, I start to get that sickly “blue ball” feeling inside of me when I hold off, and this doesn’t feel good.

2.I know the key of this exercise is to not let yourself ejaculate at any point, no matter what, but how do you walk away from this without feeling sick? Is this practice potentially unhealthy or dangerous?

3. Do you find that kegaling helps any with these exercises?

4. When you kegal to prevent orgasm, are you pulsing your kegals or just trying to squeeze them as hard as you can over a long period of time. How long hard of a kegal do you feel you must sustain to put your orgasm back in a safe zone?

If anyone else has questions regarding this topic, please feel free to also ask away. As I have said before, I know that the search feature will bring up a number of references to this topic, but so far I have not found a comprehensive “101”type discussion thread made regarding this practice. I, like many other guys out there, would like to become a master of controlling my orgasm, and would like to learn as much as possible from the masters.

5. When you began practicing edging, how long, or for how many ejaculations, did you edge before you called it quits and ended the workout session? As you became more experienced, how much farther did you take it?

I would just say,

Off hand, that everything is to be done with moderation. It is not a sport. I’ve found that if I hold a constant state of arousal for more than, say 45 minutes, the prostate will produce so much fluid that the state becomes uncomfortable if not painful. This just as a layman’s statement, I’ve never held back on orgasms just to see how long I can go. My observation is just a byproduct of having fun, generally speaking .. So, for me it’s the other way around, I’ve had to “learn to remember” to ejaculate as the discomfort doesn’t subside immediately after the release if it’s already there. As I generally can come two times or more anyway, orgasm isn’t much of an issue. I’ve only got limited experience of kegeling but it surely helped my performance in this regard, of that I’m sure. My experience won’t allow going into further detail about this, on general terms I can just say that it might be wise to build on what comes naturally.

I think kegels really help, I don’t edge very often but when I am trying to suppress an orgasm I find it helpful to do this: when you feel like you are reaching that point of no return (ejaculation) you need to ease into a kegel, you start of with a weak kegel and then heighten the intensity as the orgasm does. My greatest problem was that I would always just right into a really strong kegel, and I couldn’t hold that long enough. However I find that if you have sex/masturbate for a long time it’s really hard to suppress that, try that and see how it works, I myself consider myself to be a newbie multiple ejaculator, and I’m still experimenting/kegeling more.

I have one question for edging which always seems to be skipped over.

When do you eventually blow the load?
I still can’t see any point in keeping it in there after the session is done.

Im sure its beneficial to edge and then blow your load eventually, but i remember hearing from someone that its also good not to blow your load because it “trains the penis” to last longer i guess. Sort of like when you get to that point it doesnt mean that you are going to come. I don’t know how accurate all of this, oh yeah and i also remember hearing that doing PE work in general is good for lasting longer because it lets your penis know that touch doesnt mean ejaculate, because generally in a routine you don’t blow your load but you do mess around with it quite a bit.

Ahm I am now confused. Does edging have an important role in PE itself or just a way of controling and delaying orgasms?

Yeah. I also heard that by nor cumming you train your body not to have orgasm with ejaculation, and eventually you will have multiple non-ejaculatory orgasm.

I have been doing some light edging the past few months, on and off. I have noticed that I can go a lot longer without blowing my load since starting to edge. I also kegel regularly, I do it whenever I can, it’s not like it can hurt. I also use that to suppress my ejaculation when I have gone too far, I just squeeze as hard as I can and hold back my ejaculation. Eventually I just have to ejaculate because of the “blue balls,” but edging still has helped me.

BTW, Edging, can be used in conjunction with PE for girth gains, I’m just starting the newbie routine, again, and wondering if the edging will help me at all?

I’m going to add edging to my work out now I remember once doing it for a while and it worked, I went to have sex with my girlfreind and I was going long then usual, she was loving it. So Edging here I come…LOL

Also when I edged, I wouldn’t blow my load (only at the end of the week you know as a reward) and it never really affected me, I notice I could edge longer. I also watched a porn because I love to watch girls in diffrent posititons (mainly my dick spreading their pussy and them creaming) when haveing sex with them.

Why would you keep the juice in overnight?

I understand the not-blowing thing to help make you last longer, but after, just say a 45-1 hour session, you can blow.

Or go for 30 minutes, then blow. Then the next day, go for 40 minutes and so on.

I think I have the opposite of of a MMO (multiple male orgasm), I get the multiple-male-ejaculation. I kegel and stop stimulation right when I hit the edge. I don’t have an orgasm, but I DO ejaculate a little. It’s very very frustrating because all this time I’ve been practicing, it’s supposed to be the other way around.

One thing I did get out of this is that I now know for sure that ejaculation and orgasm can be separated. But I just don’t know how to get the one I want.

Anyone else experience this oddity?
