Right Lenny, heat and cold application will fade as the body tries to regulate it to normal body temperature.
I think applying ICE in turn actually means that after the ice is removed the temperature might go up internally. At least it appears like the body rushes more blood in afterwards to counter the cold.
The turtling effect when applying cold seems to come from the skin as when I dry my dick up after an ice pump no turtling is happening. If I walk around with wet cold water on it it seems to retract some.
Tiger, I cant say if I gained cause of that. I know that my ice cold treatment gives me a better plumper flaccid hang then when I warm down or just stop with room temperature.
Heat for sure makes it easier to expand. This is more or less proven I would say. But if you didnt expand enough you wont gain as the tissue will simply rebound.
I also read that heat increases the elastic range and while you can expand further you might also “snap back” faster if tension is relieved.
With the cold it cuts down inflammation and I do it after very intense exercises. But if your exercise wasnt as itnense and you want to carry over some fatigue to the next day cold might actually heal it too fast.
I like to end every exercise with at least room temperature edging to carry over the prior created expansion.
There are many possibilities with this and I recommend to you to just try some stuff for yourself and check your PI’s to it.
