all of his sleeves are of the soft/stretchy variety. The difference is the material used to make them; some silicone compounds are very, very soft, and others are harder. A soft sleeve is more comfortable; a harder sleeve is made of stiffer silicone compound, is less comfortable, but will last longer because it tears less easily.
the compound recommended in the TPS “make your own” thread is on the firmer side of the range that monkeybar uses.
If you are used to silicone sleeves, you might want to buy the “medium” one from monkeybar because it will last longer.
