Am I cheating when measuring BPEL
I can’t find the thread (it may not have even been here at Thunders) where I saw this info, but I read that if when measuring BPEL, that you have a slight curve, it’s okay to straighten it out to measure. Is this true?
For example, I have a very slight, upwards curve. It is so slight that when I hold the ruler in the proper position on the top, pressed against the pubic bone, that my unit bends away from the ruler in the middle portion of it’s length, returning to meet it again at the glans. In any case, the maximum distance between the ruler and my unit at the most pronounced area of the curve, is probably only about 1/3 of an inch. So, what I have been doing when measuring BPEL, is to simply press the two together. However, it seems to give me a bit of an advantage when doing this, nearly 1/4 inch. This is about the same advantage gained by not pressing the two together but instead by pulling upwards on the glans.
So , is this cheating? From what I recall reading, it was not cheating to straighten a curve, but I had thought maybe they meant only a sideways curve.
