I don’t know if I belong to “newbie” section since I’ve been doing jelq on and off. I haven’t done it for about a month.

I used to do the newbie exercise for a month and half. I sometimes would do a little more than 200 though.

I’m thinking about getting back and REALLY focus on jelqing and gaining. I’ve seen little gain on my penis actually. My flacid is bit bigger and fatter but my length has been smaller. I’m 5’10” and about 170 lbs. I’ve got some fat around and I’m guessing I got fatter. Anyways, I was wondering if I should go back to newbie exercises or the regular one. Plus, I usually do it in the shower, do I need to use a towel or anything to warm it up? Or can I just use the running water? What’s the best position to jelq? Which direction? Yeah I sound like a newbie but like I said, I really want to focus on it so I want to refresh my memories. Can I masturbate before jelqing? Or after?

My penis is about 5.6 x 4.6. It seems like everyone else is starting around 6.5 or so but yeah I’m not there yet. I want to be at least 6 x 5.

How do I lose fat around the base? Measuring?

I know it’s a lot of questions but please, I would appreciate it if you could answer any of those questions.

Thank you!

My man, you got to meet us halfway… All the questions you have asked are mentioned on the forum. Do some searching/reading.

Idk, but I’ve had good gains with my version of the newbie routine… try it out if you like.

armoman92’s routine

Don’t look at every one else , The idea is to come with any size , And be the size you want , You know what I mean .

Don’t apply the porn shit here , Like the only time you know that your penis is small , Is the time you see a bigger one!!

Focus on PE and let this desperation inspires you , To work harder , And stick to newbie , You won’t lose a thing , actually you will gain with it , And remember you can be hung , If you want , Only if you want , And here actions and insisting are louder then words .

Have a good luck

Newbie routine should be fine, just increase the number of repetitions if you feel you want more out of it.

Water in the shower is fine.

Sitting gets maximum blood-flow to the penis however any position is fine really.

Exercise is the best way to lose fat.

Don’t do it immediately before, or else you will likely lose motivation/stimulation for blood flow.
Don’t do it immediately after, I personally believe you want your expanded tissues to retract both slowly and naturally. Also have felt some pain when I would wank right after wards.

Hey freddy0601, on the topic of fat, I started PE last August and almost had your exact stats- I’m 5’10”, weighed 180, and had almost the same penis dimensions. I’m now 150-ish pounds and have seen noticeable gains, I just don’t know how much of what I’ve gained is from the PE and how much I’ve gained is from weight loss.

Starting Aug. 2011: about 6.0" x 4.75"

Current Jan. 28 2012: 6.75" x 5.0"

Long term goal: A baby's arm holding an apple.

The n00b routines is the regular PE. Everything else is more time consuming, potentially more dangerous, etc., and is for when regular PE stops working. Plenty of guys reach their goals with some version of the n00b routine and never need to mess with more complicated stuff.

As far as warming up goes, doing your routine in the shower is great.

Or perhaps he is referring to something like the Standard Routine as mentioned at the end of this page.

Given that you only did PE for 1.5 months and have been on a 1 month break I would go all the way back to a very basic n00b routine.

I’m gonna argue this one..

IMO DIET is the quickest way to lost fat. You can lost a ton in a few weeks with a modified Stone Age diet or something akin to Atkins. Stop carbs completely, live of meats, veggies, nuts. I dropped 15 pounds of fat in 3 weeks doing this. Once your body shifts into keytosis the weight melts. Only someone who has done this can attest to this. I have been a gymaholic for years and NEVER seen anything like it. The definition was amazing!

You did not lose 15lb of fat, what you lost was primarily muscle which weighs four times more than fat (though some of that will have been fat).

I have also done the whole diet thing.

I agree that changing eating habits is important (I have lost weight just from cutting out 2-3 takeaways per week) however exercise is important.

Carbohydrates are not inherently fattening provided that you do the exercise required to ‘burn them’.

By advocating Atkins like diets, you are advocating eating well below your basal metabolic rate and if you eat less than 80% of your basal metabolic rate then for every 5lb lost, upto 4lb could be muscle. Getting thin is easy, getting thin while maintaining muscle mass and internal health is not through diet alone. People need to learn the difference between losing body weight and reducing their body fat percentage which is much more important.

I DID lose 15 pounds of fat. I kept every bit of muscle and strength as I was in the gym the entire time. I looked like a competitive body builder.

Carbohydrates, especially wheat, have a high glycaemic index. Might as well be eating sugar. The Stone Age diet is the answer for that. Plenty of meat/protein, veggies, nuts. Basically any food eaten by hunter gatherers before the advent of modern agriculture.

This book spells it all out:
