anyone ever break a cable clamp?
Today I was having a nice clamping session and pop… the clamp just busts!!! guess I was building up some good pressure!! Just wondering if anyone has experience the same thing?

Yes they break at the rachet release trigger. It is an odd feeling when they break while clamped to your unit. I always used to buy 4 at a time. I no longer PE anymore.

It’s even worse to have one break while hanging and sixteen pounds unexpectedly drops on your feet!

I’ve broken one before. Made me question if I was using too much force, but I wouldn’t worry about it.

I’ve never decided whether it’s just sheer force, or cumulative stress on the plastic over time, but eventually the ratchet breaks off for me.

I bought a flimsy one at first and it did kinda break.
Start 2-31-10 ___ EL:4.3"_____ BPEL: 4.75" ____ EG: 4.25"
Current ________ EL: 4.9" ___ BPEL: 5.9" _____ EG: 4.6"
Goal ___________ EL: 6.5" ____ EG: 5.25" ______________ New Routine: Jelqing 5 minutes, then Hang (12.5 lbs.) for 20 mins. a day

All my 3 clamps went over the edge - about one in a year which I think speaks strongly for their quality.
As mentioned it is still a pain in the behind since it’s such a hassle to get them here in Europe - that is the shipping costs are 3 times the cost of the clamps :(
