Anyone used hirudoid on a thrombosed vein? (or used another topical blood thinner)
Hey guys, I have had a pesky T-vein for quite some time now. Was quite sure it was a T vein as early as 2 months ago, in mid January, when I 1st wanted to figure it out, but also went to the urologist last week who confirmed it as a thrombosis of the circumflex vein. it is still there now although I haven’t done any PE since mid January when I first realized it was there.. It is a BB pellet sized lump on the bottom-right side, just proximal to the glans. It is easier to feel when my unit is hard (I would say it is BB sized when I am hard but smaller than that when soft.)
So I’ve tried quite a few things, hot compresses (Although not daily since I got lazy after they seemed to not do much), daily aspirin for a week, nattokinase/serrapeptase for a week (not at the same time as the aspirin), and fish oil alongside most of these things. I have also been taking a B-complex vitamin, which has 300mg niacin daily, since Niacin is supposed to help. I have also been using EVO daily! the T vein has fluctuated between somewhat irritating and not irritating. It is currently not painful and I wouldn’t know I had it if I couldn’t feel it. However, the more I beat off in a day the more likely it is to irritate me for a day or a few days afterwards so I have been trying to abstain. Overall it feels about the same as before…
Basically I want to end this! Anyone used heparinoid cream aka hirudoid on their unit? What I’m worried about is I have heard it shouldn’t be used on mucus membranes and my T vein is less than a cm away from the glans. I will probably try to use some hirudoid on it soon since it has been quite some time and I thought the T vein would be resolved by now. Thanks for your help!
