It’s not just about injuries.
Clamping toughens/strengthens the tissues so much that after clamping, no other girth method will provide enough stress to have any effect. So if you are looking to gain much girth, do every other method you can first, and only resort to clamping when nothing else is giving results.
I started clamping too early and had to take a year off PE to allow the tissues to de-condition, and even then they re-conditioned fast when I started PE again. I recon I added at least a couple of years to the time I should have taken to get the results I wanted, all because I started clamping too early.
