Hey everyone,

Apologies, long post incoming: I first did PE about 8 years ago using JP90’s routine, though I didn’t do it for long and I didn’t do it consistently. I was 25 and living at home and it wasn’t exactly conducive to the time and dedication it requires. Either way, I did it for around 2 months on and off and in that time I went from 6” length and 4.5” girth to 6.3” length and 4.6” girth. Even though I got these results in a relatively short time and without being too dedicated I have no idea why I stopped. Either way, as a ripe old 33 year old man I noticed that for some reason my flaccid length was getting shorter and I sometimes could feel I was turtling during an intense weights session or just day to day while walking around. This got me a little worried and I decided I’d go back to PE but this time to it properly. When I took my starting measurements I’d lost the 0.3” in length and the 0.1” in girth, probably because I wasn’t consistent enough to cement them permanently. I’m happy to say that after a month back on it in a way more consistent way with proper warm ups and warm downs I’ve now got that 6.3” length and 4.6” girth back. Also, my flaccid hang is far better now, I’m not experiencing that turtling etc anymore, and my semi-erect girth is noticably larger.

This is all good news but I wanted to get some advice and help either from those who have done this for longer than me or those who have also come back from a long break. Firstly; I started JP’s routine but to be honest I found it to be too much, I was doing a 5 days on 2 days off with the full routine which in total is about 5 minutes of stretching and 24 minutes of jelqing. I was finding that my penis was sore to the touch on the top/near the base and decided I’d cut the routine down a bit. At the moment my routine is:

5 min warm up with hot towel
JP90’s stretching routine (helicopter shakes, directional stretches and circular stretches)
5 mins jelq, 3 mins v-jelq, 5 mins jelq, 3 mins v-jelq usually at 50-70% erect
2 minute warm down with hot water

I generally try to do 5 days on, 2 days off, but usually it ends up being 2 days on, 1 day off. I just wanted to know what people thought of this routine, and whether it would be worth sticking with until I stop seeing gains? I find after a session I’m measuring 6.5inch length, which is great to see and I’m hoping to get as actual gains soon enough.

Also, I sometimes get spotting, I.e. Tiny spots of blood, on my penis after a workout, is this an OK sign or does it mean I need to slow things down? Since I went to this new routine I’m not getting any soreness like I did with the JP90 routine, but there is still some spotting.

Another thing is that I’m starting to notice a very minor ‘baseball bat’ appearance to my penis, where the base is slightly thinner than the middle/top, it’s not a major issue but it does seem to have become more noticable as I’ve stuck with this routine. Is there a way to combat this? I can’t really think of any way to force and trap that blood at the base of the penis the way you can at the top with a jelq.

Another thing, I’m currently using some lube I had left over from my last relationship (lol) but had read a few posts that apparently some lubricants can actually help aid growth, I’d read something about an oat-based moisturiser that had some kind of ingredient in it that I can’t remember now, but was apparently helping aid growth in a significant way. Does anyone have some advice on this?

JP was a very smart man. He wrote a very good general routine but he often emphasized common sense. The routine was never meant to be done in it’s entirety from day one but a gradual buildup to get to the full routine as you got more conditioned. Use your brain which has already told you that you’re doing way too much in the beginning and work up to the full routine. Spend no more that 20-25 minutes and if 5 days seems too much to do then try 2 days on and one off until you’re in shape.

The blood and the shape tells me you’re using too much force. Be gentle.

I noticed the shrinkage while working out kind of dissappears after doing PE like pumping/clamping. Wearing an all day ring around both dick and balls also gave me improvements over time. When I first started running, before PE, turtling was crazy. After 4 years of PE I kind of feel like the longer lig, extra girth and the extra skin offers good resistance and I really need to put in a lot of effort to really turtle, and it still doesn’t get crazy after 2 months of no PE from what I experienced so far, I never took more than 2 months off.

Another thing I remember from before PE was that I couldn’t perform kegels at all while working out, except the times I was sitting still, resting between sets. I can now do several kegels while working out, especially reverse ks. If I took any dose of tadalafil during that 48 hour time span, I could spend my time working out with a semi, even when running. But that’s usually if I do PE or edging or something, can’t say I could do that when taking time off completely.

Usually after years off, most of what I read says that you should gain a lot during this first year and maybe the next.
