Back painsoreness and hanging

Totally forgot what was the main reason I switched from standing to SO - enormous back pain. Then I noticed a good chunk of my pubic area discoloration from skin stretch I got with pulley system hanging and started to feel too much skin stretch, now I did my first session after couple of months, standing, and it’s night time and can’t fall asleep how much my back hurts! It’s in the middle between scapulas. My posture is rock solid tight, upward, neck position checked, legs, shoulderblades back. It seems the more upward I get the more it hurts

What the hell to do? I don’t have chair high enough so I could sit. Tried to sit on the edge of sofa where arm rest is with my legs across other sofa and noticed pubic area skin stretch again.. Hanger usually gets stuck at the edge of chairs and crush my testicles. Problems followed by another problem heh

Any advice is welcome!

Peripheral pain is little mentioned around here but it’s important, especially if you’re older. I don’t have a clear picture of what you’re describing. You’re standing while hanging, correct? But you would prefer to sit?

Hey, I just got a huge chair today, it’s seated part has 70cm of height so I have space. Pulley stretch more pubic area then penis and for that back pain I’m experiencing it only while standing hang. It’s between shoulder blades, pain/discomfort, it’s the same. Wouldn’t ask this if it’s like that for couple of minutes but it lasts for a whole day, starts after 1st set, too painful to fall asleep if I hang before bed

Unfortunately I’m in my 20’s. Used to pulley hang SO, then it started to stretch my pubic area too much. Then this back issue problem ocurred when I’m hanging standing position. I would like to hang pain free, no skin stretch and no back pain. Having compression hanger

Honestly, it’s pain like you describe, plus an injury to my dick itself, that forced me to seek methods other than hanging. I realize you like hanging, but maybe it’s time to push the pause button on that and explore other methods. Treat your back well. If you end up with a back injury in your 20s, it might be with you for the rest of your life. Best of luck!

You are the only guy that knows what I’m talking about regarding back issues and hanging. Basically sitting and not laying back or standing just for a single set devours my back, hurts for the rest of the day

How much weight are you hanging? How long have you been doing it? Have you considered backing off on the weight?

Hanging since march this year(close to 8lb now). No I didn’t, it’s not about weight at all..

I could probably but do not know how. It’s compression hanger like Bib yes. Having bar stool so weight isn’t touching the floor

I get it. When I stretch, I’m usually doing something else - watching videos or reading. When I pump, I can be working at my computer. It requires some acrobatics but it’s possible.

I found the same problem. If I hang, I hang supine with the weight over my shoulder dangling off my bed. My head and body are on the bed and the weights pull pretty well.
