Back to the Future: Newbie Routine

So I started PE last April and stopped in October with about 0.5” gains in both BPEL and EG. I primarily did this all through the newbie routine. I restarted in January and added some pumping, clamping, and now an extender.

Last night I went back to the basics and jelqed for 50 wet jelq reps. It felt great to have a nice plump cock afterwards and I woke up with slight morning wood today which hasn’t happened in awhile.

So my question is, can you go back to the newbie routine even if you’re a vet? Like I think a lot of times we think “newbie” so start off with that routine and go beyond it on the future as you won’t be a “newbie” anymore. But I wonder, if I go back to the newbie routine, could I regain again? Like going back to simplifying things like when I first started. I suppose I never had to stop the newbie routine in the first place but now that my dick has been advancing to harder routines and exercises, will the newbie routine still be effective? Or will my dick be too conditioned to harder and more strenuous workouts and the newbie routine won’t be strenuous enough anymore?

Has anyone gone back to the newbie routine years later?
