Newbie routine: Phase 2

Newbie routine: Phase 2

Having worked through the Newbie routine linearly for 6 weeks, then doing full Newbie for 4 weeks I have now developed my routine to Phase 2. I noticed quite a few posts from guys who had done newbie for about 3 months and were looking for guidance in developing their routine. This is my post 10 week interpretation of the next steps for the committed newbie.

5 mins hot wrap (wheat bag, rice sock, whatever toasts your marshmallow)
2 sets of 10 x 30 second stretches varying directions (keep the heat on with the wheat bag)

40 jelqs (light to medium - these are to warm up)
Quick shaft massage and 5 x 15 second stretches (u, d, l, r, out)

Another 40 jelqs (medium intensity)
2 x 30 second BTC stretches (done standing)

Another 40 jelqs (medium to high intensity), where alternate sets of 10 are jelq sqeezes
Quick shaft massage

80 jelqs (medium intensity and alternate grip to overhand OK ever 20 jelqs)
2 sets of 10 x 15 second stretches varying directions

10 mins hot wrap

This might not seem like much of a change, but i was only doing 50 jelqs a day in week 1.

This is strictly 2 days on, one day off. I make every jelq count and I don’t rush. I am 60 - 80% erect during the workout and I kegel as much as is necessary to maintain the full feeling whilst jelqing. I have had zero negative effects and no injuries. I expect to keep this routine for the next ten weeks. Then its Ruler Time. And possibly photo time too.

I would also suggest that the dedicated newbie considers more than simply intensifying the routine. To me the following are also improtant aspects of my overall routine.:

Diet. Lots of fruit and veg, low fat, use a protein drink supplement.
Fluid intake.
Caffiene reduction (to zero in my case)
Regular exercise
Timing. I do my workout at the same time every day.
Rest. As in having rest days and getting 8 hours sleep a night.
