Can't believe this really works
Being a skeptical minded person I had always dismissed PE as wishful thinking and the realm of scam artists and charlatans milking the gullible of their hard earned cash. But when my 20 year (mostly happy) marriage ended suddenly in the middle of 2020 I began to wonder about giving it a try and as kind of a 2021 new year resolution decided to bite the bullet and actually start. I have always been quite self conscious of my size, probably ever since the first girl I was with at 15 said “I would be great when I grow up down there.” Not that I ever got complaints from lovers, it’s what you do with what you have that counts and effort and creativity and paying attention count for more than a big schlong. However I also knew from girlfriends that I was always on the smaller or smallest side of what they had had. And certainly from locker room observations (unless I’m the only one not fluffing) definitely smaller than average. Certainly I felt way smaller than what you would believe from average size studies where 14.5cm is only slightly below the norm. But I believe there must be an effect of selection bias in such studies because after all if you are well endowed then you are more likely to be willing to be measured versus smaller wouldn’t sign up in the first place.
Well that’s my motivations for trying this by way of intro. Definitely doing it for me and if any future partner gets an extra kick out of it then that’s a bonus for both of us.
But man, having been in corona enforced home office since March 2020 I now feel I wasted 6 months! Or even why didn’t I do this 20 or 30 years ago? Because the results (even after 1.5 months) are real and astounding. I’m shocked, but in a good way. So even after such a short time I have a solid 1cm gain in both erect length and girth but the truly astounding change is in flaccid state. I guess I was always a “grower” not a “shower” with a tiny thumb size flaccid of 7 - 8 cm (around 3”) and less in the cold! Well I don’t recognize myself anymore and almost blush (proudly) when I see myself in the mirror as my flaccid now is hanging at about 12cm and fuller too. Sure it’s erect that counts but psychologically the flaccid gains are just as if not more important.
Thus far my “routine” doesn’t remotely resemble the newbie routine and doesn’t involve any manual stretches and not really any jelqing either. What I am doing is..
- extender (about 4 hours/day). Weekdays on, weekends off (5:2)
- bathmate hydromax pump in the shower (5 - 10 mins/day). Every second weekday so about 3x/week (Have only had this for 2 weeks as of writing)
- during the day when not using extender use the vac sealing sleeve as a mild compression sleeve mainly to maintain the stretched length and stop any turtle effect
So why no newbie routine for me? Well I did quite a bit of reading (including the actual clinical study of one of the extender manufacturers) and it seems time at tension is more important than degree of stress, and with manual stretches the main indicator of stress is your own personal pain threshold. It just seemed more risky than an extender. But I might work this in in the future sometime. Why no jelqing? Well honestly I tried but I just can’t maintain the 70%+ erection needed. It doesn’t turn me on. During foreplay/sex with a partner present I have no issue to get it up and perform but mr johnson shows no interest at all in putting on a show just for the hell of it. So question for you experienced folks, “how do you do get it up?” Are you using porn during jelqing? Otherwise I just don’t see how it’s possible to be doing 20 strokes let alone 200!
The bathmate I just added as after 1 month I was pretty excited about the length gains and thought that seem as I wasn’t jelqing I should do something for girth. And the bathmate certainly seems to do the job. Although I don’t like the fluid retention (“turkey neck”) which I get even from short reps of only 1 - 2 minutes, which is why I’m only using it every other day. The other change-up I made is to order a vac bell and use that with the extender rather than the noose. It makes the setup a fair bit more complicated and time consuming but it is waaay more comfortable and has the benefit of not cutting off circulation. Haven’t had any issues of fluid build up with the vac cap even which in traction for up to 2 hours.
Thus far dick feels a little fatigued at the end of each day but not so much that I would knock back or avoid sex with my girlfriend (who hasn’t said anything as yet, not sure if she has noticed). No loss of EQ as far as I can tell. Although I would say that I would rate erections on weekdays (after 3 or 4 hours of extender traction) at only 80% capacity, but it recovers on the weekend after a day off.
This forum has been a good source of information (although TBH I’m sure it could be much better with a half decent search function. Finding stuff is not easy). I’m looking forward to see what people’s answers are about jelqing and opinions on what I’m doing wrong or right.
