I tried clamping for a while, but have stopped for a long break. I want to start again, but have a couple of questions first.

I noticed that when I clamped the base of my penis underwent a noticeable increase in girth, while the center of my shaft had an insignificant increase in size (if any). If I could get my entire penis to be as thick as the base gets during clamping, I would be a happy man. Also, the base seems to get a little spongier — seems like there is some fluid build up. Is fluid build up a sign that I am doing something wrong?

When I was clamping, I didn’t seem to make any gains mid shaft where I was doing my measuring. I did start to notice that my cocks base was girthier than it’s middle. Unfortunately, I had never measured my base girth before, so I don’t know if the base actually permanently increased in girth or if I had just never noticed it’s thickness before.

Is there anyway to clamp so as to maximize the girth of the mid and upper shaft?

Cord, I have clamped a lot in recent times and have learned quite a bit, but I am no expert. Is the increase girth at your base where you place the clamp? Or is it right above the place of the clamp?

I have increased my upper shaft girth a bunch by clamping. Most would consider what I do “hard core”; so be careful if you try this stuff. I use more than one clamp, but I generally start with one and then add clamps to keep the pressure up. I also adjust the clamps a few times each set to stay engorged, especially if I am not watching porn. After a couple of sets and I am really engorged, I do some squeezes of the upper shaft just behind the glans. I am careful, but I am firm. I have popped a clamp or two doing this. I believe this has helped me gain a bunch on my mid-shaft. I am about 6.25 mid-shaft now and growing (my wife is on my ass to stop).

You will get some fluid buildup. It is just a common thing that comes with clamping. I like it. It gives me some temporary girth that I can use for the next 24 hours or so. There are threads that discuss this fluid build up in detail. Good luck and be cautious with this stuff.

There are various exercises like clamp squeezes that target the upper section of the penis but you should be very wary of how much your penis can handle. The base is better designed to withstand the pressure and 9/10 times will grow at a faster rate than the upper shaft, but unless this is a problem for you, persevere and the mid-upper section will react soon enough.

Others may advocate wearing multiple clamps or placing them higher up the shaft - again it’s your penis and you know it better than I, but the higher up the shaft you go, the higher the risk of injury.

Yeah, I don’t mind the fluid as long as it isn’t a sign that I am doing something wrong, and I’ve done some searching on this board for clamping and fluid without finding much. The problem with it is that all the build up is in the first inch of my penis so it doesn’t do me much good. Also, it doesn’t seem to stick around for long. I would love to be able to clamp in the morning and then be bigger for my girlfriend at night, but I don’t think the changes last more than an hour tops.

If you want to try to get some temporary girth that you can use, I have a suggestion. But, don’t try this until you are well conditioned and can go 4 sets in a clamping session. Even then, go easy until you are sure you want hurt the unit.

Start out with some heat and do several minutes of firm jelqs (at least a 100 or so). Start a clamping session and make sure you achieve full engorgement. Adjust the clamp each time you start to soften up. Between each set, do a set of firm jelqs (again, at least 50 to 100). After you do 4 sets of clamping and jelqs, put on a traction wrap (you can search for it on Thunder’s). Only wrap the base and a couple of inches up the shaft. Don’t get it too tight, but you need to be snug. If you can’t piss some with the wrap, you are too tight. Leave the wrap on for a couple of hours (no more than 4 hours) and your unit should be nice and plump—ready for the road. The increased girth stays will me for several hours. Even the next day I can still detect it.

Again, this stuff is risky and I have over done it a few times. I have since learned the boundaries through trial and error. I can gain 3/4” mid-shaft with this regime and it has been fun seeing my spouse’s reaction to it. I wish I could do it with length too.

Clamping doesn’t seem to do much more for me than a cock ring.. And my understanding is that the pressure created by a cock ring isn’t enough to cause permanent growth.

I’m glad to hear that the fluid build up is normal, but now I wish I could get it to cover my whole cock and stick around longer. From what everyone here has said, it sounds like I need to experiment more with some tighter clamps. I think I want to also experiment more with wrapping the base of my cock to try to force more blood / fluid to the rest of it.
