Cold as apposed to heat

Whoa.

This is surprising.

The cup was about 1/3 filled with ice, the rest water of course. I stood in my shower and pressed it against my pubic bone. I was going for 3 minutes, but I wussed out and did it for 30 seconds.

It felt.REALLY good.Like.I dunno how to describe it, it felt like pangs of pleasure. It was weird. I suggest someone else tries it.

I will continue to do it and report back on how well my flaccid is hanging afterwards.

EDIT: Trying not to make this sound too drastic, but I do feel a little weird and shakey. I think I’ll try a cooler water temperature next time.

IMO, for length cool down in an extended state (during a stretch/extender/hanger…) and for girth cool down in an expanded state (clamp/manual-clamp…). The cool down need only last a minute or two if you use an effective method (such as simply turn a shower to cold and bring the showerhead over your unit) and due to the short duration and held expansion/extention, turtling does not occur (in my experience anyway).

How about this? I spend half an hour in a hot bath, get out dry off then strap into my traction device and let everything cool down naturally but while stretched.

Sometimes I even use the vac ads to stretch in the bath.

You don’t want to make your penis cold before working out. Otherwise cold temperatures have been known to increase testosterone.

I remember Xeno (pretty clever dude) saying that the cooling must be reasonably rapid. You would probably be better off using cold water or ice.

Testosterone, really? I guess that could be a response aimed at increase metabolic rate in response to the cold. Do you have links to studies?

Ok, so I am going to try this cool down in about 2 more hours putting me at 6 hours in my ADS. When I reach my 6 hour mark I get in the cold shower while wearing my ADS? How long should I stay in the cold shower and after the cool down should I leave my ADS on or can I take it off.

I really hope this cool down helps my turtling problem, because my dick always turtles, and sometimes it turtles so bad that it looks like a baby dick.

Hey flashpoint. Before you turn the shower to cold, make your stretched unit as hot as is comfortable with the shower-head. The switch the shower to cold and run it over your stretched unit for up to 2 minutes. It also helps to shower your body with hot water leading up to all this since a raised core body temperature will greatly reduce the possibility of any turtling.

And yeah boner, his full name was xenolith. It’s probably because a rapid cooling would cause a rapid contraction at the molecular level, perhaps causing many microtears and thus leading to growth. Cooling slowly would probably allow a more gentle rearrangement which is more forgiving at a molecular level on the penile tissues (not what we want). I liken it to pulling/tearing a muscle during exercises which requires the forced contraction (cooling in the case of PE) and lengthening (stretcher in the case of PE) . We want the same thing, on a molecular level.

This whole cool down thing is an alternative, i got gains and I didn’t cool down. Since i started in PE i’ve always warm down. So stop saying warm down it’s stupid cause it isn’t.

I’ve read many times this theory on cool down, as it was apply able on materials which have this kind of characteristics, but as we all know we’re not sure about if it would have the same effect on penis. Warming down(as with warming after PE as opposed to cooling/icing) , I think is better as it improves circulation, enhances metabolic processes and these can’t be bad for the penis especially after PE.

There was a thread [or perhaps several] a while back addressing the notion of applying cold post PP session while in a stretched/ distended state— the idea was while the penis tissue was in a ‘deformed’ [loose stretched state] the PEer could attempt to ‘cement’ the ‘gains’ by cooling the warm tissues. While maintaining that deformed state.

IIRC, wadzilla had done some work on the matter.
