Cold as apposed to heat

A chief reason the warm up is so important is that it increases the elasticity of your penis. Increased elasticity however, is not what you want at the end of your workout. Post workout, the goal is to keep your penis in an enlarged and stretched state. Applying heat to your penis counteracts this goal.
Instead of applying heat to your penis after a workout, try applying cold. Many men find that it helps boost gains and keep the penis in a stretched state. For a cool down, apply cold to your penis using a cold wash cloth, a cold pack that has been sitting in the fridge (not the freezer), or some cold water. Keep the cool down applies for one to two minutes. Just make sure it’s not too cold, or your penis is liable to contract and shrink up.

I know BigGirtha does cool down after his girth exercises. He is a big believer of cooling down after PE.

However, I think it is helpful to use an ADS advice (ie. golf weights) to force your penis to rest in elongated state right after your workout, and then apply cold so your penis won’t shrink.

Most members on here use warm-down method though.

How does one reconcile the information in this thread vs. This thread?

Benefits of Heat in PE

I would either use an ADS afterwords to let it cool back down to body temperature, or do the cold wash cloth. You want it to “freeze” in it’s enlarged, extended state. Heating down after is plain stupid, think about it in depth.

I’ve also been adding the cooldown after my stretching workouts. I even stretch it more after I apply cold water, I guess while the cooldown probably flash freezes the tissues in an extended state, some retracting of the fibers does also occur as a result of the cold, and this must be avoided, hence the stretching after the cool down. After my cooldown stretches, I put on my golf weights to keep it extended, as also mentioned here by others.

But yeah, a warm down after a stretch/hang workout is plain silly, as it has no benefits for growth.

Now: NBPEL = 6.4 MSEG = 5.3 BEG = 5.75

Goals: NBPEL = 7.0 MSEG = 6.0

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Cool down with an ADS so the penis can’t be retracted right after workout.

Cold wash cloth is a good option too.

I am starting to use cold wash towel in my routine.. we’ll see how that goes!

Yeah good idea guys. I personally would apply the lightweight ADS whether it be golf weights or a stretcher, and splash “cool” never cold water on it and call it a day.

Yeah I don’t really get this logic. Cold makes things stiffer, you want things loose to avoid injury.

Heat before and during, frozen lead rings after.

Just ordered some rings from Monty… I soon will have frozen rings for cool down!

I warm up using a cup of water filled with hot water, do you think it’d be a good idea to cool down with a cup of ice water?

Ideally it’s good to maintain some stretch while cooling, which may be difficult with a cup of water! But most of the other benefits of cooling down would still be there.

Oh, I forgot to mention I would do this while lightly clamped. (A rubberband on, not tight enough to cut off blood flow, it’s big. Just keeps the blood in there.)

I’m thinking after I finish my pumping session, I put on the rubberband(once again, it isn’t tight) and then put it in a glass of cold water, as opposed to just rubbing ice all over my penis for 3 minutes.

Go for it. Report back here with your thoughts on how well it works. That’s how we all learn! :)
