Yes, I just kind of finished up a version of the linear routine. I started at 2 days on and 1 day, off. Then I moved to 1 day on and one day off. As of this last week I feel good at 3 days on and one day off. I really am paying attention to how the unit feels. If, after two days, it aches, I will rest on the third day. If I don’t see or feel any negative PI’s after day two, I will do a routine on day 3. I am just mixing it up.
But, lately I seem to have gained some in length. (maybe I’m pressing the ruler in harder? I’m not drawing blood yet, though :) )
Bottom line is that I am just adjusting days, repetitions and routine time based on how my unit reacts.
What I think you are saying, is that if it feels ok, go for it, if not, don’t?
Paraphrased: It is not the critic who counts: The credit belongs to the man in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, who, at the best, knows the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.
