Difference Between Jelqing & Masturbation In Relation To Dick Hardening

I was wondering the other day that what sort of effect masturbation has on the penis in relation to hardening of it and making more resistant to future PE exercises and possible gains. I feel that masturbation is some what similar to jelqing in the sense that there is some kind of stimulation of the shaft, just the degree of stimulation is different, the penis erection is 100% and there is ejaculation. I hope my point is understood ?

They are two different worlds. Jelqing should be done with a softer penis and tighter grip when compared to masturbation.

On the jelqing motion the idea is to slowly push blood inside the penis, raising the pressure and stretch the tissues. None of this are present in masturbation or edging.

Penis toughening is known to happen when a person goes over the limit with too much intensity and duration, not enough rest and doing advanced exercises without prior conditioning.

Reason I posted this question is, I read somewhere on this forum people talking about above normal masturbation causing a certain degree of dick hardening and thereby limiting future gains.

Keep the masturbation to normal levels and you shouldn’t have a problem. I’m tough on my guy, but it doesn’t harden. At times it gets numb, but not harden. I try to keep my masturbation to a minimal because, personally, I see better gains if I don’t masturbate. But again. That differs.

Ok, so I’ve read through the death grip link and while it is very interesting, to a point, it is talking about extremes. I struggled to take it seriously as I couldn’t get the image out of my head of college student who has written an essay following a misspent youth and a couple of bad experiences! I’m sure there is truth in there but it’s really about extremes.

Bringing it back to the original question about dick hardening, I think there are a lot of other factors to consider as the question is really about not making gains.

Consider bad/poor or inconsistency in technique before anything else. If you are doing it wrong or are not consistent then it will lead to not gaining or worse - injury!

Masturbation is a normal and healthy thing to do and jelqing is a PE technique and is completely separate. My view is that the only real dick hardening going on will be from an erection.

To be honest I don’t believe in any form of tissue hardening.

Except when you get hard, of course.
