Do you need to do Kegels to get the full effect of PEing?

Will it affect how quickly you make gains?

I havent exactly done kegals with my PE regimen….but I have so far in almost a month gained over 1/4”

They’re for your own interest, they don’t exactly help in enlarging your penis (unless your erections are weak, then you’ll sort of ‘regain’ size).. For other beneficial reasons though, you ought to keep them in your program in one way, shape or form

Why would you not do them?

I would go straight up and say they are the most IMPORTANT PART of PE (note I AM a newbie - so if the big guys come - listen to them)

They make your erections much stronger and that in itself makes your cock bigger without even any other gains.

Trust me - do them, they get easier and almost fun.

I’m not sure how much difference kegels do (for me anyway), I have done very little of them but I got rock hard erections after gaining volume anyway. On the other hand, they are very easy to do and they can be done anytime, anywhere, I like that. I wouldn’t focus on them too much, but then it wouldn’t hurt to do some every now and then either. Beside, you do a kegel before every jelq stroke, to get more blood in the CC, anyway right (I do), and when masturbating and especially when ejaculating your working the kegels if I’m not mistaken, sure it might not be so refined for training the PC muscle but it’s sufficient for me, but then I am a newbie. :) Good luck!

I second that, dickosaur. For me, the kegels worked after as little as three weeks when I was really into them some months ago (two sets à 50 contractions inward as well as outward). This and a decent edging session afterwards have increased my stamina by some minutes. However, I lost interest and now plan to renew the whole thing.

There’s one downside (at least for me): I cannot do proper kegels when in public, like when telecommuting or talking to others. I really need half an hour for myself in order to do them properly - at least I feel that then and only then I can do them properly. But there’re all different types of people around, so for others the hide & seek kegel routines might work just as well.

I don’t really know if kegeling has had any effect, but they are easy to do, so why not? I do the following during my 5 min warm-up: (Squeeze/rest) 5/5 for 2, 15/5 for 1, 1/1 for 1, and 5/5 for the last minute.

I have the same problem, I get this weird “concerntrating” look on my face when I do them, my girlfriend can completely tell when I’m “doing my excercises”

Also towards the end of a long set (500) or some holds (30 seconds) I find it difficult not to make my stomach muscles join in or even hold my breath, so it really does look a little odd.

None the less, I still think they have really helped with rock hard erections.

Same over here. I remember back in the army I once kegeld during the so-called “NATO-Break” and my comrade who was in the same office as me suddenly got that weird look and asked me something in the line of “Got problems with your intestines?”. Really embarassing, I never kegeled again when somebody was around :D

Based on my own experience and what I read here regarding the effect of kegels, I’d say that if you are interested in getting a stronger erection, or working at keeping your erection strength as the years pass, more staying power, a healthy prostate and a better feel of your cock then it’s a good idea to do kegels, otherwise I wouldn’t bother.
