I agree overall weight loss is the only way. Everyone knows you can’t target train fat loss. Fat leaves the body the same way it comes on. Areas of lesser fat concentration goes first. This is why when people lose weight, the first place you see it is in the face and neck. Unfortunately the thickest fat is usually around the gut. This is why belly fat is so stubborn. It is usually the first fat we put on and the last to go. With women it’s hips, with men, the gut. Lower abs and the pubic fad pad is usually the very last fat to come off.
Working abdominal muscles like sit-ups and crunches even adds insult to injury as far as flaccid hang is concerned, because muscular abs can hide a flaccid almost as badly as the fat pad. The idea is to be trim, but not thick through the middle. For me working the thighs seems to get the lower abs and pad trim better than anything.
I lost an enormous amount of weight on ephedrine with just cardio, swimming and power walking. But, Hap is right. That shit is really bad for you. It raises you blood pressure, and really does shrink your flaccid. Other than surgery, cardio is the only way.
