Before you ask, yes I’ve done my fair share of reading on this site. In fact, I would say I think I’ve done too much and have confused myself on what’s proper and what’s not through reading what techniques have worked for certain individuals and which haven’t, but I think I’m well off.

Basically, I started a week ago and I’m essentially doing a moderation of this -> NEW newbie + advanced routine + the newbie routine on this site.

At the moment I’m :

1. Warming up with a sock or wash cloth for 5 minutes
2. Doing 30sec stretches using a paper towel for grip at the 12 o’clock, 9 o’clock, 6 o’clock, 3 o’clock positions and repeating that twice.
3. Using a tiny bit of lube (emu oil, I’m cut) and adding 5-10 jelqs every workout dependent on how I’m feeling.
4. Warming down with a sock or wash cloth for 5mins in conjunction with 3-5sec kegels.

If anyone would like to critique / make modifications to the above please do! Mainly going for 75% girth and 25% length.

The other thing is jelqing. I’m not sure on the correct technique, as it’s pretty hard to vividly paint an image by only using text (the videos are good, but don’t demonstrate it flawlessly)

- Basically, I try and stay in between 60-80% erect. I begin by gripping at the base with my 1st hand and working it slowly up towards the glans. When my first hand is almost half ways up towards the glans, I’ll take my second hand, place it at the base and grip lightly. When my first hand has reached the glans I’ll begin working my second hand up then the cycle essentially repeats itself.

My stipulation : 1. On a scale of 1-10 of gripping strength, my jelqing hand moving up the shaft is about a 7, and the hand gripping the base is about a 3-4, does that sound about right? 2. While my hand is moving up the shaft, there’s usually a lot of foreskin that gets bunched up towards the glans, should I be pulling that down with the hand that’s around the base of my penis every time? I can get an extra second or maybe two of jelqing time if I did that since it’s not bunched up.. Haven’t read about anyone else having that problem, not sure how else to explain but I’m cut.

Sounds like you’re doing just fine. Try not to get to hung up on reading everything on this site. It’s a “feel” thing. What works for one person may not work for you. Just go slow and be safe and it will come to you with practice. Believe it or not I think it took me close to 6 months to feel good about the way I was jelqing. Stick with jelqing for a long time before you try anything else. You only have one unit, Don’t mess it up.

I needed this post. Thank you my brothers. I want about the same as you in length and girth. I am wondering if stretching is giving you/us more length then jelqing?

Yes I get the same thing with the bunching up of some skin…I pull the skin down. I dont see how it could hurt.

Ditto on thorsex69 - you’re doing fine. I personally love the fact that you have done your homework and spent time actually reading lots of posts! It’s true, things here can be contradictory. That’s the nature of a forum with lots of contributors.

My first five months were up and down as far as learning. Sometimes I would overdo it and sometimes I would feel like I wasn’t doing enough. Don’t worry if it takes you 5 or 6 months to really feel like you’re understanding it. Just be careful and lay off when you think you might have overdone it.

Little story - I was six months in and had a great routine mostly based on the newbie. I did ride fatigue a bit and sometimes was so sore the next day, I would constantly be shifting in my seat the next day while working. Sometimes it felt numb or I had a bit of a firm flaccid and I would panic. I was driving six hours right around this time on a long trip and really couldn’t feel my dick (just kind of felt numb or like it wasn’t there). Totally freaked me out like “what the fuck am I doing, it could turn black and fall off!”

Point of that story is, yes, I was overdoing it a little, but sitting on my ass in the car for 6 hours contributed to the numbness. My anxiety got the better of me and I freaked a bit. So not only do you need to learn how to measure your own body response, you need to know when your misunderstanding of the situation is contributing to your understanding of your body response. In other words, listen closely to your body but keep a wise head - then error on the side of caution.

Remember, it’s a long slow road. Take it that way and you’ll be fine. Time and practice will give you your answers. Just be safe and good gains to you!
