I have had about 3 vein injuries in my PE past. Just make sure never to use too much pressure when jelqing etc and you should be fine. Oh hanging is really great compared to manual stretching. I have made a captains wench (compression hanger) in the past but it started to slip and get way too uncomfortable at anything over 5lbs, even with many different types of wrapping techniques. I am uncut with quite loose skin that is insanely flexible/movable on my shaft that is a big reason. Vac hanging has been a revelation so far two weeks into it. Recently started a progression thread on that subject if you wanna know more that. Just wish I would’ve started vac hanging years ago!

No surgery. Yeah, they got better after around 1 month rest. There was just a kind of mild pain in the veins. The injuries have never affected my EQ. Causes of my injuries were gripping too hard and trying to force blood/jelq to hard over consecutive days with too high erection level. Correct jelqing should not grip too firmly and should not be too erect. Also it’s a good idea to work on length before starting jelqing, but that is more a preference.

Thanks Solaire. Sex has always been great. Things have slowed down over the years with kids and jobs but we are still very sexually active with the little free time we have. She was/is kind of against me doing PE but supportive because she knows it’s something I want. She’s more than happy with my current size and we’ll see how much I can gain and stay in her good graces. She didn’t marry me or stay with me for the size of my dick that’s for sure. Good luck on your PE journey.

RichPE1 that really good I haven’t injured my penis but I’m sure it could happen in the future. I added 5 to 10 min jelqs of 8 sec each with a hard grip to get thicker. Is that a way to get injured? Or should I stop.

No hard grips, only medium pressure, just enough to push blood. If you feel that you have to grip harder in order to work the jelq, then rethink your technique and try different grips. If you are uncut like myself then it may be a little difficult to get a good jelq from a low to medium grip and will require a bit more experimentation of techniques.

IMO the best grip for the jelq is underhand ok grip where you can grip lower to the base and doesn’t require as much pressure I feel. GL.

That’s crazy that you didn’t see any gains after a year of clamping but as you said, we are all different. What’s your current routine? How are your gains?

I am one month into PE, been avoiding clamping because I thought it requires tools.

Hi YangWeiLi,

Yes, I just basically create a clamp with an ok grip as far into my fat pad as I can. It’s very comfortable and get really good engorgement. Usually kegel more blood in as I’m holding for time but simulates having an actual clamp on and I can release it whenever I want without needed an actual clamp. I am up to 3 minutes this week. Forearm gets a workout too! I didn’t start trying this until I was over 2 months in and just started with 30-60 seconds for the first week to see how it felt. Seems to be working. Girth seemed to jump up from it for my 3 month measurement. Over 3 months in and I work it into my jelq sessions after stretching. I’ll probably keep adding a little more time each week as time allows and as long as PIs are good.

Thank you for the elaborate response :D , thanks to this post, I am looking to implement this hand clamp as fast as I can to my jelq and stretch routine.

I have another question if you don’t mind, do you do the clamps as tight as you do jelqs? How do you define the sweet spot of the tightness of the ok grip?

I have been trying to jelq consistently with
80% erection, but I still have trouble finding out how tight the ok grip is supposed to be.

You’re welcome. I would wait until month two or three to start. The general recommendation is to do the newbie routine for around 3 months so you don’t break your unit. I started doing these around midway through month 2 as I was approaching the 3 month mark and started with only 30 second holds. Then I progressed by adding 30 sec each week after. I’m up to a 3 minute hold this week. Still feels good and the engorgement is about 1/4-1/2 inch larger than my normal MSEG.

As far as grip, I clamp down hard enough to keep the blood in there. Definitely harder than what I jelq at. I usually switch hands and do kind of a mini jelq to get my free hand in behind the clamping hand. Usually give a hard kegel to push more blood in during that process as well.

My advice (and I’m still a newbie myself) is to go slow, be consistent, and master the newbie routine before advancing. After about two and a half months I felt like I had a good handle on things and decided to try a few things out. This manual clamp was what I liked the most. Currently I’m getting 12-15 min (3-4 sets) of clamps at 3 min per set, firegoat rolls immediately after the clamp, then continue jelqing. It has added some time to my routine but just set the alarm a little earlier and get after it. Hope this helps and good luck! Keep your dick healthy and keep making gains!

Thank you for the advice, I am currently on my newbie routine , simply doing jelqing and stretching exercises.
After a hot bath, so I do not do the general warm ups.

I look forward to implementing the manual clamping routine as soon as I get really disciplined with the basic stuff.

And setting the alarm a little earlier is a really good suggestion , since I feel even doing basic PE at least takes around half an hour.

Newbies Don't Get Discouraged

Just wanted to throw some positive vibes out there for the newbies and vets alike. I’m almost 4 months into my PE journey and saw amazing gains the first 2 months. Gained 0.25” in BPEL and MSEG. Not much movement since then but have remained consistent knowing that growth will come. Remember that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Learn to love the process and make informed adjustments along the way. This forum is overflowing with information so use the search function and ask questions when needed. Good luck to everyone!

Nice gains you got there Coacher! And very well said aswell. I gained a lot in the beginning aswell if I’m not misremembering. I tribute it a lot to the so called newbie gains and much improved EQ. So to everyone who feels discouraged after a week or two, or even a month - the gains will come eventually!
