You’re welcome. I would wait until month two or three to start. The general recommendation is to do the newbie routine for around 3 months so you don’t break your unit. I started doing these around midway through month 2 as I was approaching the 3 month mark and started with only 30 second holds. Then I progressed by adding 30 sec each week after. I’m up to a 3 minute hold this week. Still feels good and the engorgement is about 1/4-1/2 inch larger than my normal MSEG.
As far as grip, I clamp down hard enough to keep the blood in there. Definitely harder than what I jelq at. I usually switch hands and do kind of a mini jelq to get my free hand in behind the clamping hand. Usually give a hard kegel to push more blood in during that process as well.
My advice (and I’m still a newbie myself) is to go slow, be consistent, and master the newbie routine before advancing. After about two and a half months I felt like I had a good handle on things and decided to try a few things out. This manual clamp was what I liked the most. Currently I’m getting 12-15 min (3-4 sets) of clamps at 3 min per set, firegoat rolls immediately after the clamp, then continue jelqing. It has added some time to my routine but just set the alarm a little earlier and get after it. Hope this helps and good luck! Keep your dick healthy and keep making gains!
