First Post-Newbie Routine Working

Hey Everyone,

First time posting and wanted to offer some encouragement for any other newbies just beginning their PE journey. I am two weeks in and have been pretty consistent following the newbie protocol. Out of curiosity, just took my first measurements (was planning on waiting until the one month milestone). Happy to report 0.25” increase in EG! No change in BPEL which is fine as I know gains take time and we all progress at a different rate.

For those that are skeptical (I was in that camp two weeks ago), it would appear that the manual techniques/newbie program that are so well discussed all throughout this site are the real deal. While I am just beginning, the initial gains have been very motivating. Thanks to all those who have posted and passed on some terrific knowledge. As I continue to learn more, I’ll do my best to offer meaningful advice and help pay it forward on techniques that I have found beneficial. For now, I’m going to ride the newbie program until I plateau. Starting stats 11/8/2020:
BPEL: 6.5”
EG: 4.5”

Thanks Titleist! I’ve read quite a few of your posts and appreciate your input. Luckily I’m in the human performance profession, so I understand the body and adaptation pretty well (never covered the penis in my training at university unfortunately). I know this is a long game, consistency and appropriate stimulus for my conditioning level are the key. Can’t afford to break the average/slightly less than average (depending on what studies you believe to be average) unit I’m packing. Wife is plenty happy with current status but we are working on self care and it’s always been something I’ve wanted to do. So glad I found Thunders Place, it’s been a great resource.

You sound like a smart man. It’s good to read your wife is happy. That’s huge!

Newbie Program Update

Hey Team,

Just wanted to give a one month report after starting the newbie program. Let me first start off by saying I was an absolute skeptic when I came to PE initially. After finding this site and scouring through the threads, I decided to give the newbie program a try.

I have been happily married for over 15 years and my wife has no complaints (actually doesn’t want me doing PE but is supportive). Starting measurements were BPEL 6.5” x MSEG 4.5”. From what I was able to research on this site, I started about as average/low average as you can be. One month in and after a couple of rest days, I took my measurements at BPEL 6.625” x MSEG 4.75”. I feel confident in my measurements (having over a decade of experience measuring people’s body composition, I feel pretty good about repeated measurements with a ruler and tape).

I stick pretty close to the newbie program guidelines. Use a heating pad for a warm up but I have peppered in a few more “advanced” manual stretches and exercises over the past couple of weeks. I am pretty in tune with my body and always listen to it over my desire to do more. Usually 2 on 1 off for work/rest but if I’m feeling good I may push to 3 on 1 off from time to time. Also have increased my activity level (cardio and resistance training) which I am sure is helping. For anyone out there that is skeptical, give the newbie program a try. I’m one month in and very happy with my results thus far. I know we all may gain at different rates, so stay consistent.

First short term goal in my sights is BPEL 7” x MSEG 5”, no timeframe expected but would hope within the first 6-12 months. At that point will need to address further PE with the wife as she’s worried about me getting “too” big.

We are similar. Almost identical starting stats and like you, happily married for almost 15 years.

PE has added to our relationship. I pump regularly, which provides me with immediate short term expansion. This has helped me gain perspective on just how much my wife can take.

Thanks everyone! Another thing I like about this site is the level of support within. Really amazing group here.

LittleEngine, that is crazy. Congrats on the many years of marriage and the advantages that PE has brought your relationship. That’s kind of what I tell my wife. It’s not like my dick is going to grow 2” overnight from one PE session, she’ll have time to adjust. We are still very sexually active after two kids and 15+ years of marriage, so she would adapt with me as the gains continue.

Newbie Routine Still Working

Just wanted to give some quick reassurance out there to all the newbies (such as myself). Stick with the program! I know it’s easy to go down the rabbit hole here on TP but stay dedicated to being a beginner. Learn from the various threads and be consistent. I am 2 months into my PE journey and have mainly done the newbie routine 2 on 1 off. Have done some slight modifications in month 2. Extra stretching session a couple times a week, some bundled stretches and some other manuals but mainly just increasing time with the newbie routine. In two months I have grown 1/4” in BPEL (6.5” start and 6.75” current) and MSEG (4.5” start and 4.75” current). First goal is 7”x5” and we’ll see from there. Wife is supportive but doesn’t want me “too big”. The best advice I can give so far is to be consistent and don’t get crazy. Mainly utilize wet jelqs but some situations have required dry. Just find a way to get your routine in. We all have some spare time, just need to use it appropriately. Good luck to the fellow newbies out there!

Thanks man appreciate the message I was a bit overwhelmed yesterday by the archives of all these exercises,forums,threads,routines,equipment to use and other stuff but man I’m just gonna stick to the newbie routine hopefully it helps my goal is also around to get to 7.5 NBPEL and 6 girth and we’ll yeah that’s the goal lol

Coacher, thanks for the post! I’m one of the guys who ramped up the intensity way too quickly as I didn’t believe the newbie routine was effective after 6 weeks. I PE 5 days straight with the weekends off and the combination of frequency, intensity and volume is taking it’s toll. I’m backing off to find what works for me. Glad to see you found some gains after just two months.

Gladly! I use a rice sock to warm up for 7 minutes. V and inverted-V stretches for 5 minutes, holding each for about 30 seconds, I stretch until I feel it and hold. Wet jelq for 10 minutes with some jelq squeezes mixed in. This was due to no longer feeling any tingling after 10 minutes of jelqing. End my session with sure edging. I do this routine 5 days per week with the weekends as rest days.
Looking back, I think my issue was fatigue and less of out growing the newbie routine. Back in November my goal was simply better EQ. I couldn’t even keep engorgement during the 10 minute jelq. After just a few weeks my EQ was off the chart and jelqing for 10 minutes was no problem. Just before the December holidays I noticed I want feeling anything after my session and the flaccid hang improvement was dwindling. Instead of backing off, I pushed harder. I’m now in the mindset of focusing on quality jelq instead of quantity and possibly moving frequency to a 3 on, 1 off. I’m hesitant to do this as I do not have the privacy to PE on the weekend. I have a progress report that I try to update everyday so I have a road-map of where I’ve been, what I’ve tried and might be working versus what isn’t.

That’s seems like a lot of work for someone so new. I started around the same time and have had success just following the newbie routine and plan to stick with it another month or so. I have a few things in such as bundled stretches and some squeezes just to get a feel for them. From what I’ve read here at TP, it’s best to go slow, watch your PI, get your rest days and use heat. Understand your privacy issue. If you go 2 on 1 off that gives you 4 session Monday through Friday. That’s about what I average on a given week. More weeks I can sneak and extra session or two.
