Girth and Length Question

Just a quick newb question. I have read a lot of threads here at Thunder’s Place and all of them seem to mention either working on girth or working on length. My question is, Can you not work on both at the same time and get good results? I hear a bunch of members saying that when they reach their target length, they will then work on girth. I work on both of them and am getting pretty good results. I am not wrong for doing this, am I? Just wondering and wanting to do things the right way to achieve my full potential.

I would say to go ahead and keep doing what you’re doing. Once you stop seeing good gains, then generally it’s time for you to focus on whatever you want more of. It is general consensus around here to go for the length first , but why stop if you’re getting the best of both worlds? After your gains halt, I would recommend going for your target length, whatever it may be, and then go for girth.

longman, keep riding your gains. Many PEers have different genetics and routines, leading to different results. You seem to be a grower in both LENGTH and GIRTH, while others grow more in one department. I am personally a hard girth gainer, so I focused on my length until I was satisfied with it; then I moved onto my girth.

But again, you are different than me, and many others, so keep at what you are doing. Furthermore, if your gains come to a halt, still try working on both of them and see where it takes you. Test your body; you will never know how far you can take it until you try.

Thanks for all of the good comments. What I gather from them all is that I need to do what is right for me to acheive my potential. What is right for someone may not be right for me. I think that my routine is a little “stronger” than the Newbie routine. I did try it when I first started reading at Thunder’s Place, but I did not feel as if it was doing anything for me. Don’t think that I am hitting it as hard as a vet, but I am doing things a little stronger. Again, thanks for the advise.
