Hard Ring (worm like) Below Head Of Penis

When I first got my beginners penis pump I would pump and get a nice thick cock from it where sometimes my wife could barely wrap her hand around it. Yes, with some edema build up, but still extremely firm. No negative PI’s whatsoever.

NOW, when I pump, seems I no longer get any edema build up as before. I only get this very hard ring (like a hard worm) around and under the head of my penis. I try to massage it out, however, it is so hard doesn’t do much. Now when hard (or even semi) you can still see the outline of the ring but not nearly as apparent when I pump.

Wife asked last night “why don’t you get nearly as thick as before anymore?” Thus, reaching out to the form to see what’s going on here.

Please provide some additional information ao we can better understand your situation:

At what vac level are you pumping, and for how long?
How many sessions per day?
What is your pump schedule (days on/off)?
Do you add external heat, or pump in the sauna?
Did this occur quickly or over time?
Do you do any other PE activities?
How are your PI’s?

I can do as low as 5hg for 10 minutes and becomes apparent. Looking through the tube not able to see any indicators of it. Come out of the tube and there it is.
1 session per day sometimes 2.
Mostly pump in the infrared sauna (sometimes pump outside)
Seemed to occur quite quickly
No other PE activities
PI’s are good no issues other than this hard ring.

Bumping thread, any ideas how to get rid of this hard ring/donut below the head of my penis?

I am back to pumping and taking away drastically from the look/aesthetics of my cock.

Many years ago, when I was a young lad, I had something similar. Not a “ring”, but just a tiny, hard line under the skin of my penis, near the head. It looked like a worm. It concerned me enough for me to visit a urologist (for the first and only time in my life). He put some rubber gloves on, touched it for a few seconds, and told me it was a “lymph blockage”. Now this was decades ago, so I don’t remember anything else. But obviously he didn’t prescribe medication, surgery, etc. He probably told me it was nothing to worry about, and it will go away by itself (which it did). I hope this helps.

Yeah, pretty sure that is exactly what it is. That helped my google search and looks exactly like “sclerotic lymphangitis”. Now, how to resolve/speed up the healing!

You might ease up to every other day on your pumping schedule, and reduce the time in the tube until you no longer get the ring. Then start working back up slowly.

Massaging your shaft will flaccid will help move lymph. A breast pump can help circulation and lymph movement as well. They pump in sharp steps, intended to ‘express’ breast milk, but they’re also useful for penis pumping.

Do an intensive forum search for “lymphocele” and a bunch of threads will come up.

Gentle massage, applying heat, and good old time all seem to help.

This might be a big part of the cause. I get a slight ring behind the glans after a pump session, but it goes away after a few jelqs and some “heavy” edging. I also changed to a different lube last week, and that was a no-go because the very first session with it gave me a lot more edema than my usual. All other factors were the same. I don’t know how a lube could cause or prevent it, but it sure seemed to.

So I did talk to a doctor about this issue, super knowledgable with penis pumping.

He instructed me not to worry and to maybe continue pumping slightly beyond higher pressures that I’m used to while using heat (in sauna) get really good pump sessions going, massage during and after and should go away.

Sure enough it has gone down substantially in this time frame! Still fractionally there but only something I can notice.

I know you saw a specialist. This sounds like lymphangioscleorisis. I had this before I even started PE. It went away after 2 weeks. It was just weird. It appeared seemingly with no cause and just went away.
