How can I increase my libido?

My libido lowered a bit in the last two months. I have been very busy with my masters degree, making a lot of exercise, I lift weights 3 times a week and play tennis 2 times a week and Im also a musician, I have been playing very intensely the guitar for 6-7 hours a day since the last month. does this has something to do with my libido?. Also my dad got sick about 3 weeks and was nearly about to die in the hospital and that same day my girlfriend broke up with me. Does this influence the loss of libido?.

It could be, and why do you need to increase your libido anyway? You don’t want to be over into it so much that it disrupts all other aspects of your life.

You just have a lot on your plate man. All those things together are not an easy thing to handle, it could be that you are just tired mentally. Maybe you should schedule some hours in a week just to relax.

This is a good way to put it. I think it’s quite natural to have a lower libido in response to having a lot of pressure to do other things in your life momentarily.

Hey Czepa, I was just curious why you said to work up to it. I’ve seen people talking about making smoothies with 3 tablespoons of the stuff. Is 1 teaspoon really a lot, and what happens if you don’t work up to it?

Well the 1kg bottle of powder I had said to work up from 1/4 teaspoon. I think its to get the most hormonal benefit out of it. Just guessing that your body would get used to processing it better by working up the dosage; its some pretty weird stuff, not soluble in cold water and has a strange taste - but definitely worth trying

Just a clarification - if we’re to trust examine.com , maca doesn’t affect hormones at all. It does increase libido, but not through any hormonal path. Which is good, in my opinion, I’d advise caution when messing with hormones!

But low testosterone doesn’t necessarily mean lack of testosterone in the blood. There is a lot more going on.
