How do I perform a Reverse Kegel?

Could anyone describe what it exactly should feel like and what not??

Because I don’t know if I’m doing it right.

A kegel is the muscle/muscles you use to stop a stream of pee.

A reverse kegel is the muscles you use when you try to push the pee out faster.

Learning to do RK was more difficult for me because I was tensing up my stomach and ass and getting other muscles involved. Keep after it, focus in the proper muscles and soon you’ll be able to work just them.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

The best way I can describe performing reverse kegels is like trying to clear the bowels but with a lot less force - that helps locate the right muscles. There should be a subtle sense of opening.

I’m always afraid I’m going to re-hemorrhoid myself when I do RK.

I first read about kegels when I was a teen, maybe 45 years ago, and have regularly done them since.

I only learned about RK a few years ago and have not been consistent in doing them. I just did a set and it wasn’t until about #50 that I was only doing the pelvic muscle. I have to really focus and isolate on the proper muscle to keep my ass and stomach out of the exercise. I still have a small amount of stomach contraction, but much reduced from the start.

Try to experiment with doing them in all type of different positions. I find for me it’s the easiest to locate the muscle mentally and be able to do them when standing up, or if I’m lying on my back and my knees bent, or if I’m squatting down deep in one of my favorite yoga positions. These positions I’m able to really be in tune with the muscles. Other positions I can’t at all.

Has anyone had problems with a tightened pelvic in general or premature ejaculation and cured it??

If yes what did you do exactly and how long did it took until you saw some results?
