Hi.
I am new here, and a newbie when it comes to PE. I started a newbie routine 2 weeks ago (and have allready made some gains, but I won’t report until I PEed for at least a month). This seems like a great forum with pleeenty of collected wisdom, so I will start draining some of it and hopefully I can pay back some day.

My current question is: how important is rest days? Being new and enthusiastic, I don’t like to have them. I do the exercises 7 days a week. Is this OK for everyone, some people or no one? Are there people here who tried both approaches (no rest days and using rest days) and can see differences in gains?

If you are on newbie routine make at least 2-3 day of rest per week.
After few months make 1-2 rest day per week.

Rest is really important. If you train at the gym you has to have few days of rest. If you train stretching (of whole body, not penis) you has to rest. It you work (hard or not) or also if you learn your brain require rest time.

Penis is part of your body, it requires rest days. It isn’t immortal.

Well, I do not doubt that the body needs resting in between exercises. But I am not sure it needs more than 24 hours. (I guess this is individual as well). For muscle excercises I agree that 24 hours is too short for most people. When it comes to PE, experience will tell (unless there exists a theory allready), and that is why I ask for your experiences regarding this.

My approach will probably be to try out using different number of rest days and go on the “feeling” and gains from that.

Personally I have cut down rest days, but only now after 5 months and alot of learning. I have also reduced the duration of my PE to compensate. I would advice you to keep at least 2 rest days a week until you’ve been at it for a good 3 months or so, or you could risk injuring yourself. Remember, you only have one penis. It’s best to get into this gradually, to stay safe.

I think a good 3 days on, one day off, then 2 days on 1 day off pattern is great.

Well. It’s not easy to tell how much rest time is required.

I think 24h is OK, but sometimes one extra day is a good idea.

You can do sport everyday (cycling, climbing, …) but sometimes you require rest day. Am I right?

But if you do sport you fill when rest day is required, when you do PE you don,t fill it. It is possible to do PE 2 (maybe 3) times a day, but nobody do that!!! In my opinion it is better to have less growth (in worst case) than to run to risk of over-training and having health problems.

Let your dick tell you when its time to rest. If it is still strong with peing every day then I don’t see a problem. However, as you begin increasing time and intensity I imagine you’ll find you will need some rest days.

This is probably the millionth time of seen this question. When the “PE Bible of Truth” ever comes out(don’t hold your breath), we will note that this is an individual concern, some will gain with no days off a week,some with 3 off. The basic anatomy we all share, but the growth and repairing is very unique form person to person.

Start with more off days (1 on 1 off) and then increase workout days if it’s not working.

I call them healing days, not rest days. I do pretty intense manual exercises and I believe I need to heal damages done to the inside of my dick. All the micro tears you inflict and tissue damage that incurs, to me it needs some time to mend and is all a part of gains. I do 3 on and 2 off now. It’s all in what you think is best for yourself, everyone is different. Listen to your penis.

Just had to bump this thread because I constantly here of 5 on 2 off etc. etc. But it seems I dont need a rest day with 5 days of PEing. So either I do need to up the intensity some or go longer without one. Of course until my penis tells me it needs to rest like the quote says above.

I would also like to bring up the point that supposedly all the rebuilding is when you sleep. Same with muscles. But the reason for rest days mainly is you dont want to tear your muscle up a lot and be in pain. Same with this. If you feel you can do more Bench press etc. then why would you need to rest really? It is all relevant. Just my dollar-fifty on rest days.

When you still see red spots the following day, take that day off. That is the only thing that makes me take a day off.

5 on 2 off. Use the days off for some practice with the OH.

Whats interesting is after 4-5 days off still having a larger penis gives me comfort knowing it is working.
If I exercise 2-3 days on the trot I know my EQ lessens.
For me having a big hard cock is more important than a slightly bigger unit that is softer and with lesser EQ.

Everyone ia different though.
