So here is the newbie routine and while reading through it I did not see how many times per day you were supposed to do the routine. I may have missed it but I read through it twice. Should I just be doing this one time per day?

I think it is safe to say that if you are just starting, it would be unwise to perform this multiple times per day. Once should be more than plenty. Collagen layers are sensitive to heat applications. More than that, they are fragile in their own way. Applying too much stimuli too quickly can and will lead to things like: Fibrosis, tearing, subsequent scarring, etc. Even more than that, smooth muscles indirectly function in a manner similar to skeletal muscles, so taking a bodybuilding approach can be quite beneficial in terms of alternating rest with periods of exercise. Additionally, caloric intake is crucial for cellular supercompensation.

Why the Smithsonian? Because you could walk around it for a week and not see the whole thing.
