How to keep the glans smooth and shiny?

Hey guys, i’m uncut but seem to be getting dry down there rather easily. I am interested in how you guys keep the skin on the glans/foreskin smooth and lubricated.

I’ve tried different lubes and moisturizers, a thin layer of coconut oil seems to be the best bet so far. But as an uncut guy i have the impression that i shouldn’t have to bother with moisturizers etc, could i be doing myself a disservice in the long run stroking a bunch of oil on my glans, since the foreskin should lubricate itself?

I just recently started using jojoba oil to see if it works even better than coconut oil, time will tell. But do anyone think applying moisturizers etc. is bad? Should you wash it away or just let it sit?
Thankful for any input/answer. Nothing i’ve tried yet seems to “cure” the problem but rather dampen the symptoms. And i don’t have balatitis or such, it does not itch or hurt or anything - just sometimes uncomfortable due to dryness.

Being circumcised myself and almost 40, I’ve had to deal with a slight bit of keratinization on my glans. I used a weak alpha hydroxy solution and that got rid of it. Now my glans is smooth and pink and much more sensitive.

But if you are uncut, then I don’t think that would work for you as your glans is much more delicate. Could try a small amount (a single drop) of natural vitamin e oil perhaps?

Thanks for the input, i actually already tried vit. E oil. It does work but only for the moment - like with coconut oil.

Alpha hydroxy sounds good but i am just a bit scared of hurting the skin. But if matters get worse i’ll probably try it. The thing is that my issue is not even that bad - i’ve just gone a little bit mad thinking about the texture of my glans.

But i think i’ll go easy on the creams and do noFap, that has helped before.
