How to measure Erection Quality

I’m not saying mental stress doesn’t effect the ability to get an erection, it does…but that’s not a drop in EQ.

I agree with this, sparkyx speaks the truth.

EQ is mostly about penis health and condition. Your penis can be perfectly healthy and functioning, but if there’s something wrong in your head, everything goes down the shitter.

Just like sparkyx said: EQ doesn’t have anything to do with your state of mind.

I see a lot of people here confusing Erection Quality(s) (EQ) and “quality of an erection”.
To clearify:
a) EQ = Erection quality, the easiness of achieving the erection, it’s hardness, stability, frequency and resilience.
b) Quality of an erection = small part of EQ, qualities of an already achieved erection

So, why did I put a stress and anxiousness question in my EQ test?
Because, stress and anxiety can sometimes cause a temporary decrease in quality of an (achieved) erection. However, people with strong EQ tend to have resilient erections. They can get hard even when nervous or stressed-out, just like people with low EQ tend to have poor (or none) erections in rough situations.
Therefore, the question was design to ask: can you OVERCOME the anxiousness and emotional stress, and achieve an erection? If you can, that’s one of the signs of good EQ.

So, if you rank 3/10 or lower, you have an actual ED problem.
4-6 is poor EQ.
7-9 is good EQ.
10/10 is perfect EQ.

This is correct, when your EQ is very high, you can tolerate a lot more stress before you start to lose the erection.

Its a lot like Cialis or Viagra, it will allow you to get hard and stay hard during stress levels that would normally cause your erection to melt like an ice cream in August.

If you over train, it makes you MORE susceptible to stress impotence.

ALL changes in EQ due to PE are temporary, whether its increased or decreased, with time and laying off PE, you will return to your normal baseline.

Please allow me to just correct this a bit more, but that bit is important. To again quote from the thread that introduced the concept:

It is ErectILE Qualities

1) Ease of erections (how easily it happens).
2) Frequency of erections (how frequently they happen).
3) Hardness of erections.
4) How long they last before fading, ease of keeping them.
5) Refractory period (how quickly you can get hard again after ejaculation).
6) Nite and morning wood.

#6 is there because 1-5 can be affected by mental stress, but #6 won’t be. This is critical to allow PE’ers to differentiate between mental stress and true changes due to PE.

I use the word ERECTILE rather than Erection, to indicate not just the erection itself but all the characteristics that relate to male sexual arousal. When you say “erection” it tends to just indicate hardness.

When you understand the overall concept, EQ now becomes an effective tool in determining the true effects of your PE routine.

im 9/10..im so happy but i cant get a 100% erection just by pumping with the bc muscle…i mean who can do that?

Unfortunately sparkyx’ E-Qualities list is not quantized and DD’s list is way too subjective.

How much should I be nervous, anxious, or stressed? If I’m nervous because I spent a lot of time in a traffic jam, or I’m anxious that the rain could catch me without an umbrella, I’m still good to have a boner. How many could “achieve” an erection in a hypothetical situation when they are about to be left without their manhood by a psychopat? An other problem with such scales is the relative weight of items: I think #7 is much more important than #2, for example, still both make 1 point.

Anyway, it’s a good idea to have a personal EQ scale trying to monitor the changes over time!
