I don't think bone pressed length is accurate for obese people

When I was fit and in shape I never had anxiety over the size of my penis, fast forward to now and I do.

First I became overweight and I remember measuring myself. I was 6.25 inches bone pressed erect length.

Later I became obese. After being obese for several years I measured myself again and I was 4.5 inches non-bone pressed and 5.75 inches bone pressed.

There’s either something I’m missing that could cause this loss of half an inch or bone pressed measurements aren’t an accurate measurement for obese people. I understand losing non-bone pressed length, but not bone pressed.

It seems obvious that obesity caused the loss of size, but maybe the obesity is a symptom of something else that is also affecting my penis.

I just thought I’d post this because I always see people talking about losing size when gaining weight, but haven’t once seen anyone talk about losing bone pressed size when gaining weight.

If I had to guess correctly, and I cannot be sure as I am not obese, I think that your perceived loss of bone pressed length is because you may not be able to physically dig the ruler in deep enough to touch the pubic bone. When you compress your skin and fatty tissue it will not reach the pubic bone without having gathered to some extent. So even if you do attempt a bone pressed measurement because you have more fatty tissue to compress it will not read like a true bone pressed measurement because there is still fatty tissue in the way.

If bone pressed measurements were somehow done where they did not have to compress tissue to reach the pubic bone then it would probably be more accurate.

Now: 9" BPEL x 6.25" MSEG as of 11/10/2019 This is my story, a few progress pics of me here, and all my methods.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

That makes perfect sense. The only other thing I can think of is my potential loss of nocturnal erections. Some site just said you can lose size if you don’t have maintenance of the penis. Maybe I am still getting nocturnal erections, I might just not wake up with morning wood anymore like I used to.

I love your avatar, it goes well with your username.

Another factor to consider is the health of your cardiovascular system and it’s impact on EQ.

The only constant in life is change, it is how you respond to it that determines who you are.

I also would be worried about your vascular health. Circulation and strong erections are obviously going to be key for accurate measurements. Bond brings up a valid point.

Thank you for the kind words.

Thanks for both the messages. It could be both the fatty tissue interfering with my ability to press the bone and the erection quality.

Very interesting. This would skew avarages towards lower than actual in fat populations? Might explain the difference between for example usa avarage BPEL and germany avarage BPEL. Might be penis is actually pretty similar but usa people are much more overweight.

I argue that BPEL is an accurate measurement no matter weight as it is basically the longest you can say you are. If your fat pad is that thick then you are basically losing use of that portion of your length. I guess the term Bone pressed isn’t overly correct but it is still the general idea of the measurement.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Yes, it’s as accurate as it gets. But if you gain very significant portion of weight and it changes, that isn’t as stable as we were given to believe.

I definitely concur with the length loss being contributed to not being able to press the ruler as deep into the bone. No matter what, if weight has been gained, then there are extra layers that stand between the ruler and the bone. Prime example would be your abdominal region. You can still flex your abs and know they are there regardless of weight gained, but there is still a loss of definition and you can not feel them the same because of the added layers of fat. No matter how hard you push or stretch the area, you won’t be able to see the depth due to the added weight.

Starting 10/09/17: BPEL 7” & MSEG 4.75”

Current 12/18/17: 7 1/2" BPEL & 5" MSEG

Goal: BPEL 9” & MSEG 6”
