Infrared Lamp 100W or 150W

I’d like to know the difference between both. Is it the overall heat emitted that differs, or can the 100W be placed closer to the penis to emit the same heat as the 150W?

The 150 produces more heat than the 100. With the 150 you will have your penis between approximately 8 & 12” away from the lamp, which is ideal as the light spreads out to cover the pubic area (where the ligaments at the base of your penis are) and, depending on size, the full length of your penis as you stretch it. It also means you can move a little further back and keep doing PE with the lamp on your penis, keeping it warm without risk of knocking the lamp over or touching it by accident.

With the 100 you could sit closer, but if you touch the lamp you will burn whatever touches it. The bulb gets really hot! The light at closer range will be a bit more focused on a smaller area.

More than 150 watts carries the risk that you have to sit further away and a larger amount of your body gets heated. With the amount of time we may be heating for, and the distance we sit, there is a real risk of heatstroke as we heat up a larger body area of blood and it gets carried around the body. So avoid 250+ :)

150 is perfect. I haven’t tried 100 but if you can’t get 150 I think 100 would be a better choice than something more powerful than 150.

I want to avoid the pubic area and balls, and only heat my shaft. Considering the 150W dome has a larger diameter and would require a greater distance, wouldn’t the 100W bulb be better? With the 100W bulb, what distance is best to achieve the same heat?

You do want to heat the pubic area as the ligs that extend down your shaft extend into your pubic area. Keep your balls covered with your underpants. I haven’t used a 100 but I would guess about one third closer.

I don’t do length exercises, just girth, so the ligs aren’t important.

Would I be able to feel if my unit is being heated by the bulb? Maybe I can go according to how hot it feels since you’re not sure of the distance.

Yeah that would work fine. Just keep the back (not Palm) of your hand the same distance from the lamp as your penis. Your penis is not very temperature sensitive, but the back of your hand is. If the heat is tolerable on the hand it’s fine for your penis.

Where are most getting the lamp from, I’ve seen some at the pet store but they are expensive, $60, was about the cheapest, or are people getting the floor type?

That is a really good price. For people in the USA you can also get it from Ebay. $2 more and shipping will be another $5 but you will get it in a few days compared to maybe 1 to 3 weeks.

Per aliexpress website it looks like it can take a week before they even ship the product out. Then you have the actual shipping time on top of that. However, I could be misreading what they are saying. If you are willing to wait it is a fantastic price.

I use 150 watt. BH, did you ever figure out your IR setup?

So far no luck. The 100 watt isn’t working for me. Not sure if it is a bad emitter or the clamp lamp has the bulb recessed to far back. I have to almost have the clamp lamp on my skin. Yet the bulb will burn me if I touch it. I promise I will only do that once.

I am probably going to bump it up to 150 watt and see how it works. I just bought hooks for the ceiling and some chain to hang the lamp down. Installing tomorrow and hopefully getting a 150 watt bulb within a week.

I don’t know what the rest of Europe run on but we’re 240 volt here. That may make a difference if you buy uk spec stuff abroad.

I just received my 150 watt ceramic emitter. It is a world of difference from the 100 watt version. It could be that my 100 watt was defective but I still say 150 watt is the way to go.

Also don’t go to your local pet store and get this. I paid almost $30 for the 100 watt version at my local chain. Using Ebay I got the 150 watt version for $13 including shipping. Using marinera’s source you could get this even cheaper. Just pay attention to the volt setting. I almost got the 240 volt one by mistake. In the USA we need to stick to 120 volt.

$13 for an emitter is a great deal! I paid $20 for mine from my small-town local pet store and I know the owner. I will be referring people to ebay from now on! Good call.
