It looks like it may work, the only thing that makes me wonder is the “uses 7 watt bulb”. My IR heat lamp is 250 watt bulb and lamp. My question is would 7 watt be warm enough?

I don’t think it would be big enough, but that might be totally wrong. It looks like it’s a little “spot treatment” device for holding right next to the skin, and wouldn’t cover a very big area. That’s just my guess on it.

Yeah I saw that 7 watt bulb and I don’t think it would produce enough heat. Just wondering ,because I need to be discreet about this. I don’t want my mom seeing me walk in the bathroom with a 250 watt IR bulb and lamp. LOL

Not to mention the bright glow creeping out from around the edges of the door. Knock Knock! Yeah what? What are you doing in there? Drying out weed now go away! Jk =))

You might have to resort to a bit of subterfuge here,

Do you do any sports at all? if so then you might be ablr to convince your mom you need a lamp to get rid of the stiffness.

I have a similar type of lamp that uses IR diodes and is rated at 13 watts 230V.
But as Electron has pointed out it doesn’t give much in the way of area heat and it is simply a contact type of lamp and would only have limited use for PE. But obviously it would be better than nothing, but all the other heaters have to be removed while pe’ing
You may find they take a while to get warm enough.

If your mom suffers from stiffness (or even if she doesn’t) you could convince her that she needs the bigger lamp, and then help yourself!

Well I do alot of manual labor at my job, I could use that.

I’ve just heard good things from the IR light, though I would take a shot at it.

That’s an even betterr idea than sport, because you can’t give it up, wheareas with sport you could .

So go for the big one it keeps you warm while you are doing your thing - as it were.

Yes It’s perfectly OK But if you use a higher power one,always remember the usual advice that it heats internally as well as externally, so keep the heat at a comfortable level on exposed skin, and you won’t overheat the internal tissue.

Don’t forget to groan a little when you raise arms etc when at home - You’ve got to make it convincing that you need a lamp!

You’ll need one 100W or higher. A 7W lamp won’t do anything, seriously.

Ohhh ok, I work at lowes SO ill pick one up for cheap.
