I’m reaching out to anyone with injury knowledge.. I hope you can lend some advice to my situation. I have some experience but I’m more of an ultra newb, I wish I new of this place before starting.

I got back into PE not long ago with an extender. I was wearing it 4-6 hours a day, never had pain or anything, in general I wore it for 1-2 hours at a time. I stopped wearing it after one month of use. A girl came over, I had sex and I really couldn’t keep it up. Next thing I did was throw out the extender. Throughout the next 2 months I tried my best to masturbate daily for a healthy blood flow. I thought maybe I had ED. Then I found this place.. I was told to take a rest and monitor my PIs. I’m almost on my second week of total rest and the PIs are not looking great. I took a hot bath and now my dick has been turtled/hard-flaccid for 2 days. Is my scenario best suited for cold therapy(ice pack, cold shower)? Is light pumping something best suited for when I’m fully healed or is it a good way to bring in fresh blood for healing? Did those two months of masturbation after the injury take away my chance at healing?

Is this a common scenario? Do you think I’ll be okay? How long do you think it will take for me to heal? I would really appreciate your help and opinions!

I’m definitely not a doctor, so take anything I say with a boulder-sized grain of salt…

It doesn’t seem to me like you did something that would significantly damage your penis, unless the extender cut off circulation, but hopefully you would have noticed that?

Still, I wouldn’t put something that restricted blood flow on my penis for multiple hours a day without very closely monitoring my shit the whole time.

Could your problem be psychological?
Maybe worrying so much about it is the thing causing you problems. That’s a big and common cause of ED. Performance anxiety. And it can happen when you’re alone too if you psych yourself out.

How is your physical shape? Blood pressure, diabetes? Overweight?
Do you exercise on a regular basis? Do you exercise excessively/in an extreme way?

I noticed a big difference in EQ from losing weight and eating a diet high in healthy fats and low in simple carbohydrates. And I didn’t even think I had EQ issues.

My physical health is good, not overweight or anything and I have a good diet. I think it started with a physical injury but now there’s a mental aspect to it. They seem to feed off of each other. At this point I’m working on the physical side because there is more practical ways to approach the problem and I believe the mental aspect will fall into place the more I heal physically.

With hard flaccid, does COMPLETE rest resolve the issue? How long until recovery?
I masturbated for two months after my injury/exhausted-penis, will that effect my recovery time?

I think light pumping is a generally good thing (under 5 inHg). I don’t know for sure it would help with a penis injury, it might. Maybe taking a break from masturbating would be a good idea. I think doctors normally advise avoiding masturbation and sex after a penile injury for a week or two.

Is you penis colder than usual?

Dynamic pumping would probably be good if the penis has low blood perfusion and is cold.

I’ve noticed my penis being very cold after over pumping for an hour or hour and a half in the past, shaking it for a minute and a half doesn’t always work to restore the warmth, but a sock over the penis and some kegels seems to get it warm again.

Yes I’m staying away from masturbation and sex for the moment, possibly until the end of the month. Yes my penis is cold sometimes! What the hell is that about??

So a sock over the penis while doing kegels? Do I warm the sock up first? And are kegels good to do during a penis recovery?

I have never had a hard flaccid so I can’t speak to that, but to me it seems like the mental issue is the issue.
If you masturbated for a month, I don’t think you’re injured, or at least not significantly.

I think you need to somehow put your fear of not getting hard away, maybe smoke a joint or something, and then just relax with some very visually stimulating porn and see how things work.

If you get a good erection, then you know your penis works. You know it’s in your head. Then that should help ease your mind that you aren’t injured.

Another way is to see a urologist, get an exam, and if you are so worried that you have an injury, maybe he can give you a single dose of viagra to prove that physically your equipment works.
