I had a jelqing injury in December. I jelqed with a full erection, and only did 3 sessions. I’ve been having erectile dysfunction issues since. I get morning wood almost every morning, but during the day it’s hard for me to get an erection without stimulation. I had sex a few times, and was able to get fully hard, but after stimulation ends it’s hard for me to maintain my erection. If I stand up, my erection also quickly disappears. After sex sometimes, my left glans also loses some sensation. After my last sex session a few days ago, I didn’t experience a loss of sensation.

My plan is to rest for a few months (no masturbating or having sex anymore). I abstained for about 2 months after my injury. When my injury first happened I was feeling a lot more loss of sensation after sex. I don’t feel that anymore.

Anyways, please look at my pictures. The first picture was taken 2 years ago, before I started PE or had any erectile dysfunction issues. Notice the area right under the glans (the nerve bundle?). The veins seem tight. The rest of the 3 pictures are taken a few days ago. It seems like now I have plaque or scarring in that area. It looks like the blood vessels are swollen or something. Is this where my injury is? What do you guys think I should do? The last picture is with a semi erection. This is where the difference is most pronounced. But it’s probably because it’s not a full boner so the skin isn’t being pulled as much. Sometimes when I’m in the middle of getting an erection, my dick slants to the right, then straightens out when I have a full erection. I don’t think I had this problem before. So I guess my left CC is stronger, or there’s damage on the right side? I don’t know.

I have an appointment with a urologist in a couple days as well. Should I get some cialis to get some blood flow going?

The best advice I can give is to masturbate regularly with a silicone based lubricant, while sitting in a wooden chair with a perfectly straight back, and a memory foam seat cushion on top of the seat.

Hey man thanks for the response. I had a few questions, if you could please answer all of them I would greatly appreciate it brother:

Why masturbate regularly? Wouldn’t it be better to stop all masturbation?

Also, what are your current symptoms. I know you jelqed erect as well. Do you get morning wood?

Do your symptoms get worse after masturbation or sex? Do you feel loss of sensation after masturbation or sex? If so, is it in the glans, shaft, or both? My loss of sensation is in the left glans sometimes, after I have sex sometimes. I only masturbated 3 times since December.

Yes, after the injury my penis shrunk. It became shorter and skinnier when flaccid. It was hard to get a full erection. In the beginning, after sex, parts of my penis were numb.

These days, the numbness is better. I don’t have any numbness, except for the left glans sometimes after I have sex. The last time I experienced this was last week, but today I have all sensations back.

My symptoms today are: I have cold glans, and sometimes cold shaft. And it’s hard for me to get an erection during the day unless I stimulate myself. I’m getting morning wood most mornings. Today I took my third cialis pill ever, and even then my glans is cold. Not sure what that means.

I’m going to the urologist tomorrow. He’s the head of urology at the new Mark Zuckerburg San Francisco Hospital. So if this guy can’t help me, no one can.

Without masturbation, your odds of having improvements and rate of recovery goes down dramatically/becomes non-existent.

Yes I’ve read all of your posts, but still had questions, as I listed above. If you could please answer them, I would really appreciate it.

Why does masturbation cause you to get better? Almost everyone else says to just rest. Sorry for being annoying, I just want to find a cure for myself and everyone else.

Erections and ejaculation promote stimulation and bloodflow which are essential for any improvements to take place, based on the trial and error healing process I’ve undergone. The position that your body is in affects bloodflow to the genital region as well, and this effect is increased during erections and even more so during ejaculation, which is why I recommend masturbating in a wooden chair with a perfectly straight back and memory foam cushion on the seat. Using silicone lube drastically increases stimulation, bloodflow and the rate of improvements.

I jelqed erect which resulted in erectile dysfunction, more so in certain positions than others. Erections are hardest to achieve while standing. The loss of sensation issue which is my main concern started later when kegeling after having taken some supplements to try to maintain an erection.

My loss of sensation issue can get worse after ejaculation, depending mostly on the position my body is in during ejaculation. But ejaculation is necessary for improvements to happen.

Resting will NOT help your injury.

When I say a perfectly straight back, I don’t mean that it can’t be concave to some degree, but that it isn’t tilted or slanted back at all.

Just got back from the urologist. Both him and his resident examined me, as well as looked at the pictures I posted in my original post. The resident checked my dick for any scar tissue or peyronies plaque. He couldn’t find any. The urologist checked my dick too, including the area under the glans where I thought I had scar tissue or a burst vessel. He said it looked completely normal to him.

The urologist said I should be fine, and even told me to resume masturbating and having sex. Lol. Not sure if I should do that, but they did prescribe me 10 mg cialis (He said I could break it in half for 5). He said I can take it for a couple months like every other day if I want to. So they weren’t that helpful. He said he was confident I would heal, because I was much better than I was in December.

Really? Everything I’ve read recommends a “hands off” approach as much as possible. How much are we talking about, once a day, once a week, twice a week?

I’d say masturbate/ejaculate regularly with a break every few days or so. No one with a serious injury has healed because of resting. People just recommend it because they don’t know what else to recommend and it sounds like the safest approach. Resting is standing still. Your injury won’t improve at all.

So running a marathon with a broken leg is a good idea?Really? I think it’s better when you get an injury to keep using what you injured in order that you stay injured. It makes perfect sense.
