I’ve been PEing for a few months, and I notice some soreness on some of my rest days. I’ve read that edging helps, but when I work up a full boner I sometimes notice some soreness, similar to muscle soreness. What I’ve been doing is working myself up to a full boner 4-5 times a day, spread throughout the day in bathroom breaks at work and at home. I’m not sure if it helps or is interfering with the healing.

My gains so far have been small and I believe I’m overtrained so I’m on day 5 of a break but I still get that soreness. Is the edging gonna help?

Having erections can help, but you shouldn’t make an obligation of having many (or too long) erections, if you think are overtrained.

I think you should search what you are doing wrong in your PE regimen.

It is okay as long as you aren’t overtraining.

The biggest advice here is to listen to your dick. Why must you edge during a rest day. A rest day is just that, REST. Let the ligs rest, let the new blood flow do its work in the stretched areas of the ligs.

So edging should be considered a part of stress-inducing growth techniques then?

I don’t think edging would be bad on rest days. On rest days you still get nocturnal and morning erections as part of your normal body function. And on rest days no one says no sex, or do they? Edging is just super stimulation of a normally erect penis and if anything I think the extra blood flow is good for healing and repair.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.
