Rest Days Question

I was thinking, has anyone actually had better results by taking more rest days? For example if you took the newbie routine, 2 days on 1 day off, and instead did 2 days on 2 days off. There’s just so many different ways as to which works best for each individual person.


Start 8/24 - BPEL: 6, EG: 5 | Goal - BPEL: 8, EG: 6

The most effective amount of rest days is entirely dependent on the individual. Some men’s penises can only handle 2 on 1 off while other men can go 7 days a week.

Your optimal work/rest ratio is up to you to find out. Check out sparkyx’s thread about Physiological Indicators in the Articles Forum. Use your PIs to determine how much you can handle. Also just because you can handle less rest does not necessarily mean it will produce the most gains.

MAN, that’s something I’m kinda struggleing with now,, I love my 12 to 15 min. Sessions every day !!, but is it best for me , I don’t know,,I can’t see any negatives yet, but I have only been going at it for about a month and a half.

Also,, my biggest concern is my curve, so that’s another thing that keeps me wanting to work it every day !! ,, what are the PI’s I should be watching out for ?

I don’t know how to post links on a phone but king you should check out the articles forum. Look for sparkyx’s Physiological Indicators thread and give that a read. The main things to look for are EQ, flaccid hang, and any abnormal coloration such as spot or bruises. High EQ andlow hanging flaccid are both good signs of an effective workout. Discoloration may be a sign of over working. Some redness is expected all over post session but not purple or small spots of red.

If you’re not having any issues with your current routine, then you will see gains. If you don’t then only increase your routine slightly or add another workout day.

Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

Well I think your link helped Mongoloeyd! When I had more intense workouts, it seems as though I was neutral with my workouts. Lately I have been resting more and doing less jelling (and with a lighter grip) and things have been looking better! Thanks.

I do a 2 days on/1 day off but from time to time I have done 1 day on/1day off and then go back to 2. Watch the PI’s and it will help guide you to the proper workout.


Pre PE: 5/8/04 BPEL 6.25" EG 5"

Goal: BPEL 7.5" EG 5.5"

You adapt over time to whatever workouts you choose.

You may lose EQ for a while but if you are dedicated to getting bigger, occasion erection issues are a fair exchange, as long as you do the newbie routine and condition your dick to the type of punishment you will have to provide if you are going to grow, its worth it.

And by occasional I mean once in a few weeks, or next to never.

If you kill your dick to try to get bigger, you are a fool.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

And, for the record, I did get a few small ,almost like little blood blisters on my forskin, SO,,I will back down a little on my jelqing pressure (*_*)
