Is it normal to not be stiff when starting the newbie routine?

I just started my routine and had an attempt, I felt nothing was happening during the exercises - I feel like I was doing them wrong or something, but I’m following the videos that are posted.. After the jelqing I did the kegels which I felt I was doing wrong as well, but at the end I was retracted and not stiff, can someone give some advice here? I’m confused.

Any help will be great, it will further my ambition to carry on :) , just need some advice and help on these issues.

After the workout, you’re meant to feel sore and stiff; as far as I know.

NO. You should NOT be feeling sore and stiff. Pain is the enemy. You should be feeling energized, somewhat engorged, plump, but never sore. There’s a fine line between “working” your penis, and harming it.

I can’t seem to get that plump energized feeling.. As well kegels, what erection state am I meant to do them at?

Erection state doesn’t matter for kegels . Learn the proper intensity for PE. It takes time.

Soreness after a workout is not a bad thing but it’s not necessarily something you should try to achieve. The point of the newbie routine is to condition your dick for higher intensity workouts so right now you shouldn’t be worried about not getting sore.

If you’re following the newbie routine properly and would like to gauge how your dick is handling it you can instead observe your PIs. This thread has a list of things you should look for as a sign you’re in the green zone.
