Is it safe? I guess that depends on you and your aggressiveness. I’ve been at it for around 6 months and no ill effects aside from some occasional soreness.
But anything has potential risks. I know there have been some guys that have had to take time off because they got hurt somehow. You can probably do a search and find some threads on the subject there may even be access to one from the main page.
I think the common advise you’ll find from the guys that have been at it a while is, go slow and get to know what you can handle. Whenever you switch to a new exercise start off easy and work your way into it.
It is a common thing to want to see large gains right away and maybe get to aggressive with PE but the general rule is, this takes time (months/years) and it isn’t worth it to hurt yourself and have to take several weeks to heal.
I just posted a little bit ago about how I too had read on Dr. Lin’s sight that stretching and jelqing can cause harm and potentially shrink your penis. That made me quit after my first week or two but I eventually started back and so far so good.
It has been slow but steady gains for me so far, and I’ve decided to stick with it for at least a year.
