Hello to You all,

I am Yves and new on the forum, but already doing PE for 5-6 weeks. In the past I was very sceptical about PE, but after seeing some gains that changed. I am doing the basic exercises as stretch and jelq for 30 minutes / day, up to now without any problems or injuries.
So actually I am satisfied but still not 100% sure that PE is safe on the long run, although I do it on the natural way (neither pills nor hangers).

When I came across a website of a man called Dr. Lin (actionlove.com) my scepticism returned. Is he showing real victims of PE or is it out of proportion and is he only trying to sell his own products?
Is there anyone who can reassure me by telling the truth?

Is it safe? I guess that depends on you and your aggressiveness. I’ve been at it for around 6 months and no ill effects aside from some occasional soreness.

But anything has potential risks. I know there have been some guys that have had to take time off because they got hurt somehow. You can probably do a search and find some threads on the subject there may even be access to one from the main page.

I think the common advise you’ll find from the guys that have been at it a while is, go slow and get to know what you can handle. Whenever you switch to a new exercise start off easy and work your way into it.

It is a common thing to want to see large gains right away and maybe get to aggressive with PE but the general rule is, this takes time (months/years) and it isn’t worth it to hurt yourself and have to take several weeks to heal.

I just posted a little bit ago about how I too had read on Dr. Lin’s sight that stretching and jelqing can cause harm and potentially shrink your penis. That made me quit after my first week or two but I eventually started back and so far so good.

It has been slow but steady gains for me so far, and I’ve decided to stick with it for at least a year.

I don’t know if Dr. Lin has a personal vendetta against PE because he knows it works and his methods do not (although they probably do a good job of keeping the penis healthy) or if it is because he is trying promote his own products and techniques. Without even interjecting my own or anyone else’s opinions of Dr. Lin, I can tell you with 100 percent honesty that over the years I have heard of injuries and such, but never someone ending up with a horribly disfugured member or anything of the sort. There are some side-effects which can be avoided if you take the necessary precautions or measures to correct them such as discolo(u)ration, what is commonly refered to as the “doughnut effect”, and what is commonly refered to as the “baseball bat” look. However, I do not think PE is detrimental to the health of your penis in any way. Too many people claim to have been cured of erectile dysfunction through PE for me to believe it is anything but beneficial. I, of course, don’t have all the answers and will not claim to, but that is my opinion.

I have had communication with Dr. Lin and don’t believe he is making those cases up in any way. Just like any form of physical workouts, if done wrong, you can injure yourself.

Would you stop from weight training because 2% or so tear a muscle? No you would not. Anything you do that is physical comes with risks. Those guys who write him don’t want to admit that they are in a hurry and went too far. They would rather say that it is dangerous rather than they tried to gain an inch in a week and over did it.

As far as his way of growing the penis, people don’t understand him and what he says so they interpret his method wrong. I am not saying it works but it does sound like you are training yourself not to have premature ejaculation and this alone will help your sexual exploits.

What good is having an 8 inch dick if you only last 3 minutes?

I agree with that completely. I think that, as with almost anything, there is risk involved. I can easily see where PE has the potential to cause harm. However, I have read very few personal accounts of people doing permanent damage to their penis with PE. And the few I have read have been nerve damage that could have been avoided if the proper precautions were taken. It could very well be that some men who are not actively involved in the forums did PE and cause physical damage, but I would think if that were the case that these people would come forward ipso facto to ask for advice.

I’m really relieved after reading your explanations. It motivates me to go on with the exercises. It is clear that the PE process will take some time; also Rome wasn’t built in 1 day.

I’m certain that people have injured themselves doing PE. The key is to pay attention to what’s happening. If you experience some numbness for example, STOP until it recovers completely. Common sense really, but some people have little of that.

The worst my penis has experienced in four years of off/on PE is some bruising, and some irritated skin. I almost forgot to mention that my fingers are still suffering from my initial months of PE where I jelqed until my hands hurt and didn’t stop. Only one of my fingers is still experiencing some pain and it’s slowly improving.

Hmm, so his methods are aimed primarily at premature ejaculation? Would you have any insight on these procedures? Some days I can last forever, other days I feel like busting a nut as soon as I put it in.
