Is Manual Stretching Counterproductive?

Is Manual Stretching Counterproductive?

I’ve heard conflicting information online about this. Some people swear by manual stretching while others say that applying that much tension onto the penis will lead to toughening of the ligaments and tendons making it harder to gain over time. Or maybe the truth is in the middle, that it’s best to do some light manuals and very slow progressive tension overload with hanging for example, followed by extended hours of using an extender (6-12 hours)?

Wanna hear opinions from long time veterans who know what works and what doesn’t. The clinical studies on PE have demonstrated that use of an extender (phallosan, sizegenetics, Penimaster) for hundrends or thousands of hours leads to growth and this info is supported by many urologists’ opinions too. So is manual stretching perhaps a counterproductive thing to do as you can’t really measure the amount of tension you apply with your hands? As opposed to doing progressive overload with hanging over several months.

Thanks folks cheers.

No.

“So is manual stretching perhaps a counterproductive thing to do as you can’t really measure the amount of tension you apply with your hands?”
True about the inability to quantify or measure. But I’m not sure that I would call it counterproductive.

Is it a good exercise for beginners? I am only beginning PE and want to grow in a safe way.

Starting stats (03-21-2021) 7.1” BPEL; 5.6” NBPEL; 5.3” MSEG

Goal 9.5” BPEL; 8.5” NBPEL; 6.0” MSEG

Started 7.75x5.75

Currently: 9.75bpX6.75eg My Picture Thread

Goal:10.0bpX7.25mseg Building a thicker unit, click by click, pump by pump, jelq by jelq!

From my understanding, in the beginning it served more as a way to prepare for future exercises. Kind of like how you don’t immediately go into the gym and lift incredibly heavy weights.

Conditioning first, growing second.

Starting Stats - BPFSL: 13cm, BPEL: 13.5cm

Current Stats - BPFSL: 15.4cm, BPEL: 14.6cm

All stats are pre warmup. Starting Stats taken on 8/20, restarted with those same stats 2/21 due to lack of dedication.

One of the great things about manual stretching is that you get a feel for how your penis is reacting. Although you can’t easily quantify, for example, an exact amount of pounds/kg of pull, you do get a feel for exactly how much force you are using and how your penis is reacting to it.

When stretching you need to ‘feel’ your way into the stretch; it’s the best way to stretch effectively without doing it harder than you need to. Give this a read for the way I do it: firegoat - Length Gains

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results
