Hi everyone,

I just started kegel-ing and I have just simple question before I begin. I’ve located my BC muscle and do stop peeing whenever I want without a problem. I’ve looked around TP and everyone says suggests to hold the BC muscle for a certain amount of time. I’ve tried that, and when I kegel, my penis kind of jumps and then goes back. I still feel that it’s tensed, but since the penis has jumped back, I don’t know whether I’m actually flexing the muscle or not. I know that it’s hard to tense just the BC and nothing else at first, but when I flex it, but when I’m doing my exercises, I tense everything, the penis will jump, and then go back to it’s original position and I’ll still be tensing everything. Does anyone know what’s going on? I hope this post makes a bit of sense to someone out there. Thanks in advance

If you feel it ‘tensed’ that means you are holding the BC muscle. Don’t worry about form. Kegel with your trousers on and you should be fine ;) .

You know I’ve been doing Kegel exercises for awhile. They say to stop and start stop and start peeing, but I don’t like to do that because it stings. So I do many other types of Kegel exercises they work better then the stop and starting plus no sting. You’ll learn more exercises as you go a long they get pretty intense, but they help out a lot.


Current measure ment 8-2-06 EL- 5.5, EG- 5.25, BPEL-6 7/6, BPFSL-7.25

Short term goal EL- 6.0, EG-5.5

Long term goals EL- 7 to 7.5, EG- 5.5 to 6.0

I think start-stop peeing is just to learn what contracting the muscle feels like. I read somewhere that doing that a lot is actually bad on your bladder or urethra or something like that.

Well there’s another reason not to do it. Yeah once you find the PC/BC muscle, I wouldn’t do that exercise anymore
