Length after girth

Length after girth

I’ve read that it is harder to gain length after girth. Is this true, or is it just a myth or something?

True, and please use the search option at the top before posting a thread to answer a question, ok? :)

I think the jury is still out on that one.

That’s what some say.

No one knows, but it’s a plausible idea.

Please :donatecar to Thunder's Place to keep it running.

I think mbuc, illpo and PG have accurately expressed the current condition regarding your question. BIB (paraphrasing) stated that ‘given identical material properties, stretching a thin cable is easier than stretching a thick cable’. I, for one, am adhering to this hypothesis in my PE approach.

Much reading on this site will no doubt lead you to the right approach for you.

Very true. I naturally had a big girth to begin with so gaining length was alot of work.
