Measuring question.

I’m new here and have been browsing for a while.just a quick question. Where do I find info on the correct way to measure. There must be a standard way.

In short, you get a ruler (not tape) and place it on the top of your shaft, barely touching the pubic bone area. This is non-bone pressed length.

Repeat, but push the ruler into your body as far as it will go, this is bone pressed length, and is necessary to confirm growth.

Girth is measured with a tape measure.

Also, you’ll notice a slight difference in measurement depending on whether you’re standing, sitting, lying down. Standing seems to be the standard way to do it, but however you do it, just be consistent so you can track results accurately.

Most accurate I would say for consistent measurement would be a ruler pressed up against the pubic bone.

Do I need to straighten out the curve?

Only if you want to.

I mark my measuring device with a pen (just like my mom used to mark the door frame when I was growing up).
I use a piece of foamcore board instead of a ruler. I line the board up centered and mark where the tip is. Then I measure afterwards.
I use a cloth sewing ruler to measure girth.
