Messed up vein with tape measure

So I decided to use a metal tape measure to try to measure my girth like an idiot and I ended up putting a lot of pressure on a vein in my dick. It now has a kind of indentation in the vein and the entire vein is enlarged. There is still blood running through it but it seems restricted. There is more pressure in my entire dick at the moment. Anyone familiar if this is something really bad or if it will go away on its own? Really hoping this isn’t a crushed vein or something.

Let it heal with time and a warm compress

It will go away. Give it some rest.

I’d leave it alone for about a week. :) While you are waiting for it to heal it is always recommended to either use warm compresses or soak in a warm bathtub for a while. Heat helps everything heal faster.

Veins are soft and pliable. You couldn’t have crushed it and caused it to not reopen.
It’s much more likely that you caused a minor injury to the vein inner layer which triggered an inflammatory and thrombotic reaction. So you’d have a little blood clot in the vein as well as the wall itself shrinking in diameter, as a response to prevent bleeding from what it thinks is an injury.

As others have said, just take it easy and let it heal.

Hasn’t gotten any better thanks for the false hope. Guess I’m stuck with a fucked up vein for life now would’ve been nice if there was some sort of warning not to use standard tape measures somewhere on this website since it normalizes measuring girth so much.

What´s the point to blame the forum for giving amateurish advice? go to doctor if you dont want to waste time asking in forum.

The idea of using standard tape measure is safe unless you decide to use metal tape with rusty aserrated edges to measure your girth.

PE itself can be dangerous. It´s useless to waste time imagining all the things people could do wrong cos also it´s very experimental and blaming people for not warning you has the same value as me blaming you for my thrombosed veins I got using hangers…..

But ok i propose we inaugurate a megapost with a brainstorm of warnings for people no to do:
-Guys, dont measure the length of your meatus with an old shaving blade.
-Of course dont measure girth using a metallic flexible blade
-dont hang more than 100 kilograms

Oh also, of course, as we learned in this forum.

-dont use banding material as sort of cock-ring even if you are ready to kill for a crazy sex session.

I didn’t use a tape measure with rusty edges. It was a standard tape measure. When you look up “tape measure” you will see tape measures similar to the one I used. All I’m saying is that in some of all these “newbie” “intro” “start here” posts it would have been nice if somewhere someone would have recommended getting a non-standard tape measure since the measuring of girth seems to be such a common thing on this website.

If you’re going to going to give advice acting like you know what you’re talking about with certainty and then you end up being incorrect than that’s you’re problem. If you’re all not certain, I don’t know why you’re acting like you are all making all these claims like they’re fact. It’s not that its just ameturish advice, it’s ameturs acting like they know what they’re talking about, especially with their “senior member”, “moderator” tags ect.

You don’t see a single picture of girth measured with a hardware store tape measure. Frequently the term “seamstress measuring tape” or “soft tape measure” is used.

Additionally, no one here claims to be a medical professional and the “emphasis” on measuring girth is for your own records. Literally we have multiple methods listed, string or paper are others. You took the only route you felt like by digging in a toolbox and are unhappy. That isn’t anyone’s fault but yours.
