Read through the Progress Reports/Personal Routines forum - this is where members post their gains and routines. Also look in the Members Pics forum - there’s some interesting stuff there too. And dont forget to thoroughly read the FAQ’s/Quick Start Guide - essential reading.
As far as a time frame is concerned, it’s hard to say - everyone is different. Just remember to start slowly and gently until you become more confident and attuned to what you’re doing. And if you have any questions, please ask!
