Hey gang,
I’ve poked around the site a few times in the past, but this week I got inspired to start the newbie routine and I went through it for the first time this afternoon. I know the answers are somewhere here, but the sheer volume of information on this site is overwhelming.

I’ve seen that 80% erection is suggested for jelqing and that jelqing when fully erect is to be avoided. I had trouble not staying fully erect during my session today. This is a motion my penis is used to and it responded accordingly. About halfway through, I thought maybe I should have masturbated before I started. I don’t know.

Ideally, I’d like to see increased flaccid and erect length. My wife sometimes find sex uncomfortable because of my girth and while I imagine that girth gains may come too, that’s not really what I’m looking for. My flaccid length has always been a source of embarrassment – especially in those group showers at the gym and similar situations. Plus the extra weight I’m carrying and the fat pad doesn’t help.

Anyway, I’m glad to be here and part of the community and I look forward to digging into the forums more.

Welcome aboard. Make sure you’re not performing jelqs above 70%. Take your time and start slower than you think you should. This isn’t a a sprint but more a marathon. Ask questions and make sure you give yourself plenty of rest days along the way.

How long have you been jelquing for and what are your thoughts on LOT ?

I have the same problem. It’s pretty much all the way to 100% as soon as I start doing anything, and I’m not really sure how to get it down to 70% or less so I can jelq effectively.

Did you masturbated or had sex before starting your session?

Porn addiction running along with masturbation could be causing this too.

Any PE exercise will boost your girth, in different degrees. Wet jelqing, depending on the erection level, is something close to 50%/50% (length/girth) stimulation.

In time your brain will learn the difference between PE time and sexual time.

Until then, never jelq erect. You can let the erection fade and continue or masturbate once, ejaculate and then PE.

I recommend you Pick one of the beginners routines and continue with it for 90 days or until you stop gaining. Start slow, and build up to the full routine over a few weeks time. Jelq with an erection level between 45% and 65% using a moderate grip, just enough to move blood up the shaft and to the glans.

Pay attention to your PIs, your penis is trying to tell you if you are over working, or you are in the growth zone.Aim for positive PIs, and steer away from the negative ones.

Don’t forget to take good beginning measurements and photos so you have a solid base line to compare your future gains to.
